I like my dreams. I hate waking up. I think I wrote this late at night.

I’d rather be away
On the wings of a
Summer’s day,
can’t you tell
I’m a beat away
From my heart bursting open

There’s a paradise
Only known to me
Of men and mice
Can’t say much until you
Roll the dice
See if you’ve won it all

Dreams, dreams
I hope I never wake again
Sleeping soft
My fantasies are my best friend
Dreams, dreams
Of a different where and when

And I know
There is no escaping
You have to go
But I’ll look for you
High and low
Until I fall asleep again
