Made a blog because I just felt like sharing this in the hopes of finding some cure.

I've been writing as Archailist for over a year now. He's by far my favourite character, as far as any character I've written as in Mizahar and possibly out of it too. As a writer, I've got terrible problems that I sweep under the rug; my inability to change his body often to keep in line with Tarot's views on the Pycon race. I tried it on my other Pycon, Cyq. I still do. He changes every time in every thread, but it makes it difficult for my partners to keep up.. it's likely my fault.

I think the biggest problem, the one I'm now searching for a solution to, is what to do with his future. Arch has no future. He's going to become a knight, he's going to grow through the Order, he's going to become Grandmaster or some other high position... then what. I don't know. To be honest, I don't even know what I'll have him do next thread. It's not that I don't want to write with him, I no longer know what to write with him.

I don't really know what story I want to make for him. It's been over a year and I still don't know what his story is beyond training in the Knighthood. My threads all seem to just be a small variation on a same general thing, repeated endlessly, when I look back on them. Not really fun to write.. not really fun to read.. so why do it in the first place?

Hopefully something will appear soon. If anyone's willing to sit down and brainstorm with me for a few minutes, I'd be grateful.
