Sometimes in life, there comes a moment, or an oppertunity, or an idea, that is just so rediculously, terribly, monumentusly stupid that you think no sane person would ever, ever go through with it.
Luckily, I'm not exactly sane, and neither are the company I keep IRL. Which is why, when my friend came up with this idea, we not only didn't laugh, but encouraged her. Which, of course, led to me getting roped into her mad scheme.
Now, a little bit of backstory. Currently, in english class, we are studying Arther Millers play, The Crucible. It's a story about the witch hunts in Salem, and the main antagonist is a girl called Abigail Williams, who cries witch on most of the town. There is one scene that takes place in the courtroom, where one of Abigail's friends tries to call them out as frauds
You can probably already guess where this is going, but for those who want to be absolutely sure, I'll say it anyways.
It was a lot more complicated, but basically, we called our teacher a witch, quoting from the book.
We even got the Assistant teacher to act the part of the judge, demanding that she take her spirit out of us.
This actually wouldn't have been so stupid if the whole class had been in on it, but it was, quite literally, a two man (girl) job.
The teacher found it all quite funny, and the class took a few seconds to get it. I remain amazed that I managed to yell out "Why do you come, yellow bird?!" with a straight face.
