Getting to Know Your Player by Gereth on December 1st, 2010, 1:53 am
You know, for as long as I've had the internet I've never kept a blog. It always just seemed like something else I'd end up forgetting to do all the time. There's this kind of sickening sinking feeling when it comes right down to it. It's like keeping a journal right? You write down what you are thinking, feeling, or doing and then everyone reads it. Okay.
My name is Jay. Jay is short for something. I don't know a guy named Bob. I work as a coder for a major corporation. I'm generally dissatisfied with my job and so I find a lot of distractions from it. My friend Jischa is the one who brought me here to Mizahar and I'm more than happy with it so far. It's a huge game. A big endeavor really especially for me but I really like a lot of what I've seen of it so far. I'm looking forward to playing with all of you.
I might or might not continue writing in this thing. It sort of seems like a weird place for it but maybe that's a good thing.
Peace out.

Jay/Kel (Jekyll): Manifestations From My Life by Jay Ackina on April 11th, 2014, 1:23 am
Ever since coming home after a year and a half of living an adventurous life abroad, I began to watch as my life seemed to unravel before me. It has been four months since I came home to Washington State after living in the Hawaiian Islands, India and Africa. I didn’t just wake up one morning and decide to go there. No, had my plans worked out the way I wanted them too, who knows where I’d be now. It was a gradual process of my life spiraling or of control until I hit rock bottom that started me that journey. But then I met someone who gave my life purpose, filled the void inside of me. He told me to go to those places and bring light everywhere I go.
Jesus, God of the universe sent me there.
I know a lot of people will read that, scoff, roll their eyes and potentially stop reading right there. And if so, that’s alright, I won’t be offended. This is more for myself than anyone else. But if you keep reading, I promise my life story ties into Mizahar.
So here it is.
Coming home, life was radically different from what I had been living. Jesus took me on crazy adventures, doing wild things and seeing the supernatural as heaven met earth in a tremendous clash of good verses evil. But as time went on here at home, I allowed myself to get drawn back into my old life. It wasn’t intentional, it sort of just happened as I slowly allowed myself to grow lazy and stop focusing on what was important. It was innocent things at first, things that didn’t look too bad. But over time they absorbed all my attention, attention that should have been directed towards the one who truly deserved it, the one who made life worth living.
Amidst my bouts of laziness, I found Mizahar.
Today I was stunned by a revelatio... [ Continued ]

Ouch, and Sturlin, and Nustril by Sturlin on April 23rd, 2010, 4:39 pm
So I've got three things to mention today. Firstly, my burned and bitten thumb. The guy who helped me put on my bandage apparently missed the fact that the adhesive ended up on the burn, while only the bite was covered. When I removed my bandage the adhesive scooped all the burned flesh out of my burn. That, was, fun. Sturlin has an avatar now! He looks scary, and I like it. Cypress, a woman who recently joined our wonderful chat, made him for me. She rocks. Sadly she doesn't believe how much I like it, so if you appreciate my avatar picture please forum pm her to let her know that her art is top notch. Nustril. Once I get an avatar for this fellow i'll be headed for the grasslands. The world isn't ready for this much kitty, and I doubt they've a big enough ball of string. As usual thanks for reading, I'm really bad at this blogging business , ~J

OK, Terrible pun. Still, that makes me the youngest mod (or assistant mod) I've ever met. It's overwhelming.
Still, I'm really glad it was on a site where I can have a hands on experience with the PCs.
So..... I'm not to sure what else I'm supposed to put here.

Previous Character Concept by Jei on November 8th, 2018, 6:02 am
Jei is a simple soldier. He likes to say that he is no more and no less, a loyal warrior of Myri who lives to do nothing more than shed blood in Her name and become one of the stronger males of Taloba.
But that simple half-truth serves to deny Jei entirely, as he is only a simple solider on the surface. The boy is a much more uncivilized being than he appears to be, far more animalistic and bloodthirsty than he claims. He is a wild, uncontrollable individual with a lust for war only trumped by Myri herself.
Yes, he eats people. Most Myrians do, but while their feasting usually only extends to post-war rituals, Jei gorges on the flesh of humans when he is able to and with the love any man would show with his favorite dish. He isn't addicted or mentally ill, per se, but he simply finds it the best tasting meal a person could find, with the ability to nourish him better than anything else could.
