Now That I Feel A Bit Better by Atyvn on June 11th, 2011, 5:17 pm
So for the past week I've had what I thought to be a sinus infection. I get them every year or so, I'm used to them. I thought this would pass easily. I was so very wrong. My doctor thinks I have mono, but the tests say I dont. My throat has been in great discomfort for the past three days, my nodes are extremely swollen, and it hurts to yawn or swallow. Swallowing being the worst part because any somewhat coarse food scrapes down my neck and, for some reason, I have an obundance of saliva which I either have to swallow or spit and in this case both actions hurt.
Luckily I have strong meds now. For all of you that have had to take steroids, you know how bad they taste. I have to take five of them per day. You would also know how they make your stomach feel if you don't eat alot with them. Lucky for me, I don't have a big appetite, especially when I'm sick.
So this is just me saying sorry I havnt been posting as active as I normally would for the last two-three days. |

Chat room by Quint Caravel on November 23rd, 2013, 8:28 am
(01:59:08) Pjeil: (whispers) Indeed. By the way, your enthusiasm for Miz is infectious. I thoroughly enjoy what you write. (02:09:01) Kreig_Messer: *cuddles Quint* ----------------------------------------------- Okay, you've all seen the chat quotes. Bits like the lines above cut and pasted for your viewing pleasure. Well, this blog entry is not for the two or three dozen regulars that the place seems to have. (Though they are welcome to read along.) Rather, this entry is for those of you who haven't come by the chat room and had a recent look and listen. This site has had 13,578 characters, and even assuming an average of three and four alts per person, or user accounts, or people who joined, made one post and then vanished--- we are still talking almost 13,573 or even 13,574 people. (My math may be off a bit.) So that means that there are at least a good dozen or two unique people who haven't been in chat but might enjoy and benefit from it. I do understand that this is a site about writing. Writing and playing the role of a character, so it's a bit like LARP acting except behind a keyboard. And therefore some people don't want to bother with chat or videos or blogs or scrapbooks; they are just here to post for Character X and then go back to whatever they were doing before that, be it playing Candy Crush Saga or Pipes/Bridges or Clash of Tribes. Or work or school or life itself, be it dinner, movies, dancing and so forth. And that's great. Everyone should participate the way they desire. This is after all entertainment, a pastime, and no one can dictate to you how you should have fun. Some will join for a day, some will join for a month, some will last a year or two, moderate or grade threads before moving on, and some will join and stay. When people go off to do other things either because this place wasn't their cup of tea or because other pursuits caught... [ Continued ]

Two-Faced People...don't ya just love em? by Arabella Sintos on September 1st, 2009, 6:59 am
I've never really blogged much before so I don't know the whole jazz to it, but I need to rant and vent about something. A topic that has been brought up, two faced people. As of late I was back-stabbed by someone I had thought was a friend of mine, it hurt, of course it did and it made me wonder just how much of our relationship was actual friendship and what was just a bunch of damn lies. Yeah, I might be taking this out of porportion, such a thing can happen when I'm still in the moment of anger but meh, ranting'll help. Won't name names since that won't solve nothing but rest assured it's no one here on this site. I just cannot stand people who sugar coat something, leading you to believe one thing and then stab you in the back, all the while with that stupid fake smile plastered on their face. Isn't it just easier to get the truth out of the way rather then wearing one face with me and then snickering and going to other people about me, hurts more then the cold hard truth would. Right, I'm just rambling, as I said, I don't blog often and am not very good at articulating my thoughts, just had to rant cause it keeps me from crying. To anyone reading this here, if ya ever got something to tell me, just tell it to me straight, don't be two faced cause I absolutely guarantee that will hurt all the more. Not saying that anyone here will of course... So to the once friend I had that backstabbed me, she won't be able to read this but ...immature, yeah but whatever, it helps.

Whoops by Drask on June 2nd, 2011, 4:58 am
Well, I had hoped to post another entry yesterday, but it turns out I got a little too busy. Sorry about that folks. What a great way to start off a weekly blog: late. Aaaaanyways, I guess it's better late than never. Last Wednesday was my last day of school as a Sophomore, which I hear is earlier than most public schools let out. Finals were a bit tricky, but eh. My only worry was Algebra II, cuz that class is NOT easy. Regardless I managed to make an 83 on it which I guess is an okay grade, but I would have preferred an A. That just means I need to study more T_T. The only other exam I made a B on was Biology. I've really got no excuse for that one, I just got lazy. If I had just taken the extra credit... oh well. Managed to pull off an A average in all my classes EXCEPT Spanish II (an 89.73). Thursday and Friday were meh days. I was still trying to figure out what I was going to do for summer break since I had a weekend job puncturing holes in my schedule, which prevented me from going to a camp or on vacation. So I did the next best thing: got a second job. Well, not yet anyways. Got a strong "maybe" from our local Subway and Burger King. Got a good feeling about them. Oh yeah, I guess I should have told you guys earlier: I work at Six Flags. Yup! I'm the guy who sells the flashy light-up swords. It's kind of a boring job, but you get used to it after a while. Saturday I worked. Nuff said Sunday I decided to go out and do something. So I watched Battle L.A., and soon regretted it. Ugh, where do I begin. [ Continued ]
