Even though I did an introduction post, I figure there might be someone bored enough or better yet, interested enough in finding out more about me as a person. Then again, this could also be my own boredom and insomnia fueled moment of egoism prompting me to do this. But anyways...
Online I mostly go by Sinnocent when possible or some variation of it. Come to think of it, that has been my 'handle' since I was eleven or twelve. The whole Mizahar account has me twitchy. The whole set amount of five accounts to an e-mail address and registering with a character name makes it where I can't have my standard log in. Though I am getting used to the system.
My first name is Bronwyn. My mother picked the wonderful name from the atrocious historical romance Highland Velvet by Jude Deveraux. Just please don't ask what it means. Normally, I give someone the story about Branwen, the Celtic princess and goddess and say that it is an alternative spelling. Completely leave out the fact that 'bron' and 'bran' have different meanings in Wales. It sounds like something a Creative Writing major who is proud of her heritage would do.
I also owe my interest in roleplaying to my mother, who was a bit of a hippie and into Dungeons and Dragons. Every Sunday after church, we would go over to a rotating friend's house where they would break out the books, pens, notebooks, and dice in Crown Royal bags. It was a small group, five to eight people who I grew up with and came to know as my other family. I listened to the GM weave tales like they were fairytale stories. My imaginary friends came from pictures in the Monster Manual. By the time I was ten, I had my first character in AD&D 2.5 who was a Rogue who was chaotic neutral. A few of them even made special campaigns that would be easier for me to play.
