The Journey by Alech Shariiv on September 15th, 2012, 2:28 pm
Alech Shariiv I suppose you could say I joined Mizahar about a week ago, and while I find this place absolutely fascinating, I'm actually pretty terrified to begin writing. Silly, right? I worked hard on Alech's character sheet to doll it all up, and now that it's time to do what I came here to, I'm choking. Patiently, Alech's been waiting in my head, silently ready to have his journey begin, and in the meantime, I've been paving the way. Packed his bags, so to speak. I've raised him. Formed him. I picked his race, molded his appearance with the help of photo manipulation, and toyed with the idea of personality. I've written up his resume (CS), and given him everything he needs.
So why is so hard to let go?
Like a new mother sending her son off to his first day of school, I've got a few worries. Will the other kids like him? Will he be okay by himself? What if something bad happens? I guess I'm mostly worried I'll write up a post, and no one will reply. Ever. I want his beginnings to be successful. It's hard for me to back up and pick where to start off. Common sense says Yahebah, since he is from there, after all. But then again, the Northern lands are kinder to newbies. It's a tough decision, and I feel like I'm the only one who's been so ridiculous about all of this. But, man... I really am stoked to see where Alech will take me when I finally let him.
If anyone reads this, can you do me a favor? Just feel free to comment on your own experiences in Mizahar, or tell me where/how you started your...

Getting to Know Your Player by Gereth on December 1st, 2010, 1:53 am
You know, for as long as I've had the internet I've never kept a blog. It always just seemed like something else I'd end up forgetting to do all the time. There's this kind of sickening sinking feeling when it comes right down to it. It's like keeping a journal right? You write down what you are thinking, feeling, or doing and then everyone reads it. Okay.
My name is Jay. Jay is short for something. I don't know a guy named Bob. I work as a coder for a major corporation. I'm generally dissatisfied with my job and so I find a lot of distractions from it. My friend Jischa is the one who brought me here to Mizahar and I'm more than happy with it so far. It's a huge game. A big endeavor really especially for me but I really like a lot of what I've seen of it so far. I'm looking forward to playing with all of you.
I might or might not continue writing in this thing. It sort of seems like a weird place for it but maybe that's a good thing.
Peace out.

Alive? by Voreasos Alisier on December 21st, 2009, 6:30 pm
Hello
Well it has been a stessful month and more time from miza due to that. However starting up college and going to a new one so more paper work and bs from people but almost done. I have posts made on the usb drive just need tto post them up this weekend.
For the people who did not know, zack the black kitten in my last post, had passed away just a few days after that photo was taken. I rather not go into the details but it was very quick and hard on us. Oero is still in good health and will go to the home after the 1st of the year.
Yeah life is dull but need to go to the college and start on more paper work to pay for said college. Oh well that is life but once I get done (well even just a year) I will have a job for a phone company in the tech area part time so it is going to get better.
oh yeah marry x mas

The Aventures of being a Noob by Kita on May 28th, 2010, 12:36 am
Well, today is my second day on Mizahar. I completely love it and i can say in full honesty, i am addicted. I have to admit, i was pretty scared to join a new rp site. The last one i was on was to put it nicely, very strict. The mods were sadistic and they had no patience for confused people. I came here and saw how advanced and large this site was and once again got intimidated. I have no problem following the rules, just a hard time figuring them out. Enter Dusk, who has helped me so much. She just came out and said you have no clue what you are doing but i will help. Yes, i am paraphrasing but you get it. She answered all my little newbie questions and i am understanding things marginally more now. She taught me all about the Kelvic race (the race i had chosen) and pointed out to me all the things i needed to tweak on my character page. She even oftered to do my first rp with me which made me feel very welcome.
I am now feeling very at home and happy in this new world. Thank you to everyone who helped me. I am very excited to become Kita.
