Update Maybe. by Aiza on October 4th, 2011, 7:12 pm
Last night got worse. I really don't know what to say about it. I just, hate it. Bleh.
Anywho, today is another day. I made the best of it so far. Cleaning house most of the day and my school's second term just started so I will be busy doing that. So my muse has left for vacation, so to speak, for a short while I'll be on and off the chat, because you guys are my friends and I love you. But I won't be posting. I don't even know how to respond to PMs about role playing right now.
I hope to be back up and running but thursday or friday. So, let's see then. Oh, quick question, I need ideas. If you had to cook to impress a Vantha cook? What would you make?
I was thinking, Chicken Keiv?

Essays.. "Prejudices Are Necissary" by Engghaen on February 6th, 2014, 3:38 pm
Yay.. I actually love to write essays and, yes... I do so in my free time. Enjoy. Prejudices. We all love them, do we? Truth be told, people are often being judged as 'don't have that much prejudices about people!' This shows that most people see prejudices as a bad thing, because they are being associated with discrimination. If you think Chinese guys are annoying, you'll probably never like one and maybe you can start descriminating them. I personally know a lot of people stuffed full with old, dull prejudices that now do not make this much sense anymore. They have had their best time, but those ideas are still in the minds of who we deal with every day. But why do we have prejudices, anyway?
Well, let me explain that. Prejudices are a very important part of how our brain works. You can call in 'generalisation' too. Imagine yourself, noticing every one thing that happens. That would be an annoying life. What would tests be hard! You would get all nervous and wouldn't be able to concentrate on what you need to do or that horribly tough question. Our brain needs to generalize. We need to be able to focus on what's really important in our lives. We don't only to that when seeing, but also hearing, feeling.. You don't hear everything. You don't feel you're wearing clothes after a while. But we also do this when expressing opinions. If we would look at every single person on our globe, we would go berserk. It's too much information to hold. So, people generalize. They need to add structures to a big heap of information. But often this 'generalization' becomes negative. We develop opinions about certain races, places, hair colours, anything you can recognize an individual with. Sometimes this turns into discrimination, but more often these are prejudices. Prejudices developed by your own brain.
Another cause can be society. It may seem all of us shove causes off to... | [ Continued ]

Lets Lose Ourselves. by Spite on April 17th, 2012, 8:42 pm
Lets Lose Ourselves. Its easy enough to do, right? It`s odd, because it happens in such a unique way you only notice until afterwards. But what if you get stuck in your own mind, or what if what your experiencing right now is a dream? What if.... Yeah, I sound like a dang hippie.Cry me a river trolls. Anyways, it`s seems the fantasy world gets so alluring I can`t stay away, or I don`t want to leave. And I`m craving it sooo badly.

Undecided until now. by Julian on March 31st, 2011, 11:45 am
Today was an interesting day. I didn't get a lot of posting done because fiberoptics are amazing, but I did drink some fantastic red wine and watched about three hours worth of cartoons, including Archer and Adventure Time (the latter being SO AMAZING it's hard for me to even believe it exists). I also got to talk to a good friend of mine from way back, and he gave me some insight on villains. I'm feeling really pumped about Julian. He's going to be such a stunner. I made a vow for some reason to put a drawing or picture in every bloh post, so here's something. I was attempting to draw an Eythaefal, but ended up giving up and just drawing an eye with giant lashes. Perhaps there will be something better tomorrow. In closing, I'm quite enchanted by this song.Edit: Decided I should put something more substantial in here. What's a blog if it doesn't make me seem unnecessarily human and ruin my mystique? I'm not really sure what to write about. Despite the wine, I'm not drunk (just a few drinks into tipsy at most). I've got a day off tomorrow so I can pretend to do productive things. Really ought to get to my taxes. Shower, clean, complain, watch more Grey's Anatomy probably. This paragraph is entirely boring. I've been thinking about putting together a scrapbook. A rant-worthy blog is one thing. In all honesty, I shouldn't keep one. It's really my intent to appear as inhuman and unrelatable as possible so people don't think of me as a real person. Social online cultures are really much easier to handle at arm's length. The number of close friends I keep is a low one, and I prefer it that... [ Continued ]
