Not excuses After writing a novel in Ron's scrapbook, I realized something. I need breaks. Duh. Jen has been telling me for weeks now that I need "Jules time". And she was very, very right. See, the little lightbulb moment that I had is that I am very passionate. Very. I take on everyones problems and I let every little thing get to me and I try my hardest in everything I do. Because I put 100% into everything that I do, I burn out fast and often... but you know what? There isn't anything wrong with that. I'm okay with it. If that means, for instance, that I post like a maniac for a month and then take a week break from Miz.. can anyone really complain? No. No one can complain. So, Julie, Stop feeling guilty that you need your time. It's stupid how many times I've scrapped something similar to this. But it makes me feel better to get it out and to type it somewhere I can go back and read it later, reminding myself of my brilliant ideas when I start to doubt. My vacation back home is almost over. I have about another week left and then it'll probably be 8-9 months before I can see my family again. Yes, I know. I know, take my time and enjoy and then I can get back to posting. I know no one is mad, I know Ron doesn't *really* hate me for making him wait, even if he is getting antsy to reply (though he tells me he doesn't care I haven't posted yet). I know everyone else understands that I haven't disappeared or left. I just realized that I'm not used to taking time for myself, completely and selfishly for myself, without worrying about the consequences of my "me time" is having on other people. THAT'S why I feel so guilty taking breaks from Miz. My presence here effects enough people that it makes me uncomfortable and guilty to "take breaks". I don't feel guilty right now, honestly, I just miss it. I miss getting my thoughts out and I miss Addy and my PC's. I know I said this a couple posts ago, but it's true. I STILL miss them. However, I know I would really regret it if I didn't take every opportunity I have while I'm here in RI over the next months when those opportunities are no more. I guess this scrap is me just giving myself a slap in the face and saying "DUH! Idiot!" *eyeroll* You guys are awesome for putting up with me.

Jules, you are an incredible person. On Facebook I did mention you a bit in my "tribute to my friends" thing, but I didn't do you justice. I will be honest, if I had grown up in Rhode Island and not in Texas and met you, I would have been all over you and had to wrestle Ian for you. Lol, okay, well, maybe it wouldn't have gone like that. But yeah, you are awesome. I love talking to you, and you are an awesome person. I don't know if I would have been as successful here without you around. I look forward to our chats in the mornings before you go to school, I love plotting with you about all our crazy Sira/Addy stuff, its easy not to get mad when you take a while to post because when you finally do its always awesome and totally worth it. Enjoy this time with your family and friends. I hope Ian feels better soon. And Happy New Years!

So Ian went to the airport today and wont be home in Cali until around 9:00 pst. I'm not exactly sad because 1) I'll be home in five days and 2) I'm so sick I don't think I can handle any emotion other than blah. Today is my writing extravagansa (once I'm done cleaning the house) and being sick isn't going to stop me. However, it is a little hard to think because my cold is completely in my head. Does anyone have any tips on what to do? I sit here writing and find myself just staring off into space for 10 minutes before I even realize I was doing it. I think I am going to take Claritin and wait for that to kick in. But any kind of tip would be helpful. I hate having something like a head cold just knock me away from everything I wanna do now that I finally have time to do it! Now that I don't have to play tourguide to Ian I can finally relax and do whatever I want for the last five days of my vacation. That means I'm back on Miz and now it's time to play catch up! Success Yesterday was dubbed my crazy day of writing in hopes of making a dent in the obscene list of things I have to do. While I was very productive and got a lot of writing done I also had a bit of ADD. Since I have so many threads due, I found myself thinking about them all at once instead of one at a time as I should. That resulted in a whole mess of half written posts and nothing to show for it. Haha. But never fear! They will be awesome On another note, I'm making a quilt. It will be awesome and I will put pictures up of my progress! On a second another note, I'm addicted to SWTOR.

Flying Again About to leave for the airport. Altogether, it's nine hours of travel. I am going back I time three hours so when I get home, it will only be 1 in the afternoon so that's not too bad but traveling just wipes me out. Not to mention Jen gave me some kind of cold that just wont go away and has been here for almost two weeks(though she has it worse so I can't really complain). Im stupidly anti-doctor, so that might by why i am not getting better Cross your fingers that my sinuses won't explode at those high altitudes. I think I have a layover in las Vegas so you all might hear from me later
