Feeling the solid blow connect to his face Xi leered at him. catching the money pouch with his left hand. Tossing the money up and down in the air, Xi stood facing him. Something about his current posture was wrong it was almost liro-esque still he stood there no trace nor attempt to hide himself even as Saph followed him. Then the thief went on blubbering about not killing him. Having nothing to live for. Other than life itself. Xi sighed, folded his arms glaring down at the boy-thief. Xi spoke some what hardly but with a tone of no malice. "Then live, i wanted my money not your life , if i'd wanted your life i could have ended it with that punch, two inches higher or lower and you'd be a dead thief. Rather than a cowering thief." Xi knew he was being hard but he was being honest too. He was sobbing as Xi stared at him. Then Saph inquired as to whether he had any family or not. It was a fair question though Xi already knew the answer...If he had to steal the answer was more than likely no. "If your going to stay here i have two conditions. One you don't try to steal again. Two i know your name." Xi turned his huge frame and headed back to his clothes placing the money back, and re-assembling his gear before spreading the money out amongst all the little pouches along his body pack. Xi then waded back into the water again but not as far as last time. "Thief, i'm not a monster,,,,Though i may look like one." And feel like one. "I'm sorry about your jaw. It'll heal in a day or two. And this tells you, only steal from those you know you can escape." The aura of anger surrounding Xi began to dissipate as he sat in the water. Oddly this is one of the few placed he felt at absolute peace. Saphs presence helped him focus tremendously. Almost as if his wall against liro was stronger. When separated though the wall felt like it crumbled faster. Or maybe Liro just got more ravenous against Xi for being able to hold him back? What ever it was it wasn't pleasant. As Xi sat in the water he began to think about a singe set of words. It was what he was going to name one of his strongest attacks. An attack so fast and so powerful it would feel like a hundred strikes at one area. Xi didn't mind if the thief joined them, in the water, so long as he abided xi's conditions. If he broke them Xi would break his arm... |
