A note to all Bloody Eye questers:

Notice that the requirements under "Who" states "Aspiring or current Waveguards". If you do the quest you are expected to be a waveguard (or if you're not, you want to be one). In the case of the latter, the quest will double as your 'job initiation/application' too.

As I've had a few questions...

If a player that you're doing job or important threads with vanishes off site without warning, my best advice would be to try and bring the thread to a close with one last long post. You can intimate vague actions of that now gone player, but you can also jump in time a little and just describe what happened in the interim. I won't penalise you for something that's out of your control.
