A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

'Elaine Spade, The Silent Lady,' Garonn repeated to himself deep in thoughts. The glow of Yahal's mark still kept his mind moving at a hundred miles per hour. Although his flashback and mad ravings had come to an end, now paranoia took over. He tried to over analyze all of the ghost's words, '...she hates humans -- what does that truly mean..." The Skeptic didn't know what to think, but he would always think she was lieing until she proved him elsewise.

Standing up he slowly walked to the window and looked out. The skeptic akalak felt creepy being so close to a ghost. He couldn't decide how to respond to her. He felt that any word he said would send her into a fury, but he had no reason to lie. He wouldn't tell her much through, but he had to say something; her voice was fast and pressingly deadly. Garonn could not predict this ghost's actions or words.

Swiftly turning back to Elaine, the Knight stared at her in the eyes, "I am an warrior born and raised in Riverfall," he raised a hand to his scared face and touched it, "Murdock did this to me. He nearly killed me with foul magicks, but Rhysol saved my body though he will not heal my mind,"

Next it was time to test Elaine. Walking back to his sword he picked it up in a non-threatening way, "I am going to be frank with you Elaine. I am not here to play games. What do you want with me? If you plan to kill me, give me the respect to at least draw a sword -- for I plan to die how I lived: in the flash of a blade," His Yahal gnosis seemed to burn a little more brightly in his palm.

At this moment he had a weird moment of deja vu, but he couldn't explain it.

Murdock... So she finally found out two things. What happened to his face and who is Murdock. Then Rhysol stucked in her head. Rhysol she read it somewhere. She remembered now. He is the god of evil and chaos. Why would he help to him? This situation went more interesting then she imaged it.

-I'm sorry to hear that. But tell me why did Rhysol help you?

But before she got the awsner she saw the knight put his sword back. She looked at his eyes. She was like an oil painting, her eyes showed no emotion only a little shine of curiosity. She didn't want and she couldn't attack him. He was too powerful. And he wasn't a human so Elaine didn't have any business to kill him or make his life harder. She stood up and went near to a chair. She closed her eyes focused to her soulmist. She did a push to the char, which slightly moved away but not so much. But it was still a big thing for her. She tired to show she was no harm for him.

-Did you see it? It's all my power. If I had some interest to kill wouldn't I try it earlier when I possessed you? I'm only a girl, knight! I have no blade to fight with you. But I don't think I need one. I don't want to kill you. You are not a human. I won't make your life harder nor take it away from you. A mortal being already made it harder. Was he a human? Did a man's child hurt you? A fool, who carried one of the human's sins, WRATH! -

[Garonn's Room]Premonitions (Elaine)

Elaine had proved to him that all she could do was barely move the chair and she claimed not to be hostile, but he still wasn't one hundred percent convinced. Regardless, he still put the sword down again and listened.

The Akalak looked at the ghost in contempt and hatred, though not because he felt these emotions towards her. The Silent Lady had inadvertently reminded Garonn about Murdock and just thinking about his enemy brought ice to his veins. Looking out of the window, the Knight's mind wandered towards the suicide mission in Sahova. His adrenaline rush began to roll down, but he was still going a million miles per hour in his head.

Just as quickly as he had threatened Elaine, he was now telling her about Murdock, "Aye, he was a human whom hailed from Zeltiva..." The Knight jerked his grotesque head and spasmed in rage at the mere mention of the city. His mind was so bent on the fighting that had occurred in Sahova, he had forgotten completely about the conflict in Zeltiva, "Yes, Zeltiva, there when I first met him he beat me with a parlor trick of water, but in Sahova he burned my head off with the same magic... I should have known better, but I had no choice back then... I didn't know what I know now damnit!"

Casting his sword aside, the sounds of metal rang through the room for a minute while Garonn gathered his words and thoughts in rage. His mind was still running at a million miles per hour and he almost forgot about the ghost in his room. He focused on the sound of the sword and the image of Murdock and the events of Zeltiva.

After getting lost in thought, his mind quickly his mind snapped back to the ghastly image projecting from the soul mist, "Why do you care if he was human or not?"

Elaine took a seat on the floor. She was looking with her empty eyes at the knight. She was wondering now that Murdock was from Zeltiva too. She took a wild guess that Ravok's half pupolation is Zeltivan. How she hate that city now. She couldn't escape from it till now. The Silent Lady whispered to Garonn

-Zeltiva, Zeltiva... Always that city. I'm from there too. I lived my mortal life there. Ahh... That Murdock... He must be a fool. Ruin somebody's life that's one of those human's personality.

She looked out from the window. She stood up and looked down. Some people were out. They were under Garonn's house. They all looked mattress that Garonn throw out. She looked back at the Akalak. The Silent Lady saw he was lost in his thoughts. But then he asked her. Elaine raised her eyebrows about it.

-Isn't it obvious, Garonn? I told you earlier, I hate them. I hate humans. Even I hold one of their sin: Pride. So I want to ask you again. Why did Rhysol save you? It's strange for me... And why did you become a knight? Why? -

She asked it with full curiosity. She wanted to know. She was a child indeed. She stepped closer to Garonn. She was staring at him then she sat down next to him.

[Garonn's Room]Premonitions (Elaine)

"I don't know why Rhysol saved me," Garonn stared through the window at the sky above. No matter how irrational it felt to the paranoid Akalak, he feared no threat from the Elaine at this moment. Looking at the thin gray clouds blow by brought no comfort to his heart. He could not understand why his life had lead him down this path. He could not begin to wrap his mind around Rhysol and Murdock and Ravok. It was just confusion that turned to deep rage, even with the mental benefits of his Yahal gnosis.

"Rhysol saved my life, but he robbed Dira and Lhex. I was meant to die, Elaine, and that is all I know. I was dying! No, I was dead!" Garonn spoke with a throaty voice as he flipped his hips back at Elaine and walked closer. He looked at her in the eyes and spoke the full truth, "Do you see why I am going insane? I don't even know what's real anymore! I was DEAD Elaine damnit and now I am alive! I was supposed to die! Do you understand me?"

Elaine was just sitting. She again raised her eyebrows. Robbed Dira? And don't know why? She was in Ravok for a long time now but she didn't know anything about Rhysol. Only that he is evil. Or he was called evil. She just whispered to him in a calm tone. This race was so strange from her but as long as not humans she didn't care.

"Rhysol... Can you tell me about him? There must be a reason he saw something in new. But robbing Dira... "

Said the ghost. The Silent Lady refused the cycle too but as she did she hoped one day she will meet the goddess herself and that she will forgive her. But for now talking about death. Akalak was a strange for her. At least Garonn was. But before she asked she tried to be friendly and she talked about her experience about death. But as a ghost she still didn't know everything about. Did she really die actually? Was that real death? She believed so.

"Let me tell you, Garonn. Death is not evil. Death is merciful. I AM DEAD! You WERE dead. Everything happens in order. This is fate and this is why Rhysol didn't robbed Lhex. I understand you but you can't understand me, being alive means you didn't truly died. You weren't dead from the beginning. Akalak, as I asked before, tell me more about him and tell me more about your race. "

[Garonn's Room]Premonitions (Elaine)

Postby Imass on April 29th, 2013, 6:10 pm

Garonn looked at the sitting ghost and let her say her piece. He would not interupt her, because she was telling him about ghostly wisdom. She was a ghost, perhaps she truly understood death. Everything she was saying made sense. She spoke of things that he knew well; death was merciful, death was not evil, death was release.

Pausing for a moment and letting her words sink in, Garonn responded, "I understand Elaine. I know what death is all about even though I haven't truly died. I am not a ghost, but I have been dancing with death my whole life," the warrior pointed at the sword but still looked at the girl sitting, "See that blade. It represents everything I was and everything I am. I lived by the blade and so too shall I die... I have accepted my death long ago, but the fact I didn't die in the room in Sahova doesn't make sense to me. I was supposed to die and I didnt! Perhaps Dira and Lhex weren't robbed, but I was! I needed peace!"

The Knight slammed a fist at the wall, but not towards Elaine rather in frustration with the whole situation, "Rhysol is a entity of power and malice. He is truly frightening being enveloped in smoky tendrils of chaos. I will not lie -- no matter how much I fear his power I will never serve him. He seeks to enslave people's thoughts and brainwash them into serving him," Garonn waved his arms, "How could I ever agree or side with a person like that? "

Garonn's mental clarity from Yahal's mark began to fade, but his mind was just beginning to work. He was working out the pieces of the puzzle with Elaine, "Tell me what is Ravok all about? How do they survive out here? How do these people operate?"

She didn't have much to say about it. She couldn't find peace either and not sure what to do. She got some knowledge about the blue men. He was completely confused like herself. Elaine wanted to touch the blade. She stood up and grab it with her soulmist she focused. Now lift.... but nothing. She tried it again and again the blade didn't move. It was too heavy for her. She didn't want to overgive and let the blade there. She whispered to Garonn like nothing happened.

"Wow... it is heavy... And somehow I understand you. But you are lucky. You are still in your flesh but watch me. I'm a dust... shadow of my oldself. I didn't find peace as pride, my sin remained from humans.... But she helped me to understand how terrible my race is... Don't be so sad... at least you could continue where you stopped. Akalak... honestly... if you really don't want to live, you wouldn't be here to talk with me would you? "

She asked the question. She wasn't sure about Rhysol much. Enslaving and brainwash people? She didn't care about these things. She had no business with it only to make suffer the humans and get rid of her sin. She again looked at the blade. Something which was so important to him. But now she wanted to know about his race. So many questions and not enough time. She couldn't let the chance to get know these huges warriors.

"Because humans are really good at that. They have the ability to survive and to learn. And Ravok the city of the blackened sun... they have so many sins there... Rhysol must find them "attractive". Garonn... Could you tell me more about your race? I'm really interested in it."

Changing subject suddenly. The Silent Lady was good at this. But she was curious like a child...

[Garonn's Room]Premonitions (Elaine)

Garonn watched silently as the ghostly girl attempted to weild the discarded sword. The mist around her hands began to thicken as she focused. For a split second the Knight feared that she would be successful. His mind went one million miles per hour again as the last bit of Yahal's power dissipated from his body. Fear traveled through his face and spine even faster than ever now. He clenched his fists, standing alert and ready. Fortunate for his paranoia, Elaine was totally unsuccessful. Not that Garonn actually thought the girl would hurt him, but deep down he had a skepticism that could not be quenched,

"Yes..." the Akalak said looking at Elaine when she mentioned the sword was heavy. With a sweaty, wide-eyed face he listened to her. Coming down from the power of Ennervism was almost frightening to him. Everything possed a threat, but he couldn't show it through his facial expressions. His mind began to churn its thoughts as Elaine paused. She was dust and shadow. All the warrior understood was that she was once a prideful human and now she was dead with nothing to show for it. 'At least you get to continue she said'

Garonn paused for a second and thought on what she said. He was going to respond to her when suddenly she spoke up again, this time answering the questions he asked before. The Knight was astonished at how much stuff she could talk about at once. His mind could not process it like before. "...they have many sins there... Rhysol must find them attractive..." Before Garonn could even say anything she ended by changing the topic completely.

Elaine the Silent Lady had been asking about his race repeatedly for some time so the Akalak just caved in, ignored everything else for a time and told her about his race as if almost it was on queue.

"My brothers and fathers comes from a far away land known as Riverfall. It is located on the far west shores of the Cyphrus region many thousands of leagues away. It is so far, that I may never live to see that fair city again," Garonn spoke in a hoarse, throaty voice, saying the word 'fair' with condescension. "We call ourselves Akalaks. We are am all male warrior peoples. Tradition, honor, and duty consume the lives of the people from my home-state,"

He looked at her and awaited a response. He was actually a little ticked off to talk about his hometown, but he would not hide his past from her. After all what harm could she do to me?

All man warriors. Interesting. But warriors wasn't at her interest really. But she didn't care about it. These akalaks had some civilization. Not like humans who had but they didn't act like that. Shame. She again sat down and whispered to him.

"All man warriors... interesting. It's like the Kontis... All females and they are mostly seers or healers. But I don't know much about them either."

She let out a sigh again. She got into a point when she couldn't ask anything. Or she could just she didn't know where to how to start. Then Elaine realized maybe the blue man wants to ask too. Should she tell him to ask her or let it be because he will know. She didn't want an awkward silence however it was sweet for her she offer him to ask about herself if he wanted to. Sharing knowledge. And because he wasn't a human she didn't care if she tells.

"Ammm... so as you shared your knowledge I can share mines too with you...Thanks Dira, you are not a human. So anything special request?"
