The Mizahar Book Club!

Hi there!

I would like to throw this out there and see what kind of interest it gets. Would anyone like to perhaps, start a book club? We can democratically determine what book we'd like to read each month and then the lot of us can read it. From there, maybe we can have some really cool discussions, either in a channel of chat or elsewhere?

I would love to do this. Though I can't go into Mizahar's chat room (I have a silly chat bug that logs me inand out 5400000000 times apparently that I can't figure out how to stop) but if we do it via a thread on the forums or perhaps via AIM then I think it would be super fun!

I like the idea, it sounds like it could be good fun; it would encourage me to get back into focused reading, plus it could open up a lot of possibilities on genres and titles I might normally not look into. So, yes I give the thumbs up.

Sure! Sounds like fun actually, I haven't been reading as many books as I should lately so this might encourage me to get back into it.

I did not expect so much immediate interest. That is so rad. So then, how would everyone like to do such a thing? How about we all nominate different books, including a short description of each (though the uninspired can opt out) and then vote on which sounds best? From there we can pick a date to all start reading together!
