After awhile Rosalie found her way into World's End Grotto. People from all over the place were spread out around the area. There was something that her curiosity instructed her to head towards the Kitchen. It was the loudest place in Zeltiva to her belief. Some how she managed to slip in, Past three shouting cooks.

They scrambled back and forth between areas of it. There was something going on but she paid no attention or even bother to listen to their frantic shouts and whispers. The smell of fish filled her well-trained nostrils and she ran over to a very large dish.

And there it was. The largest fish she had ever seen. Looking around she snatched it off the plate and took a huge bite out of it, Scales and all. It was easy to digest since this was what she did in her animal form all the time and she was sure to get caught if there was a large brown bear roaming around the kitchen.

Taking one more large bite she left it on the plate.Turning around she viewed the kitchen, it was rather large area and that she liked. The first thing Rosalie caught site of was a large variety of spices. Looking around she found nobody was even paying attention to a blonde haired girl with simple clothing in a sea of cooks.

Biting her lips she hesitated to do it but she crawled onto the counter that was just below the spice rack. Now she was standing up on it, Balanced on the tip of her boot.

Running her fingers over the spices she knocked a few down but she continued to look, Taking some then just trowing them down. She was like a child who had nothing better to do but mess around in her mother's kitchen.

A few spices opened up but she only gave them a glance then moved around the counter until a man from the kitchen yelled at her but she paid him no attention and continued in pointless search for the most colorful spice she could possibly find.

"Petch it!" Elan cursed as he burnt the outside of his left forearm as he was putting a dish into one of the ovens. He'd burnt himself twice today, the kitchen was too crowded. He was about to turn and yell at some of the servers to vacate the kitchen when he saw a blonde girl on the counter rifling through the spices. The head cook was grabbing his rolling pin.

Elan threw his hands in the air and stalked over to the girl, looking up he yelled, "You! Get down from there! The Head Cook is about to grab his rolling pin and believe me, he knows how to use it." He held his arms up to her. "Come on, quick now, let's get you out of here."

This is what Rosalie was looking for. Quickly she spun around and sat down on the counter, Laughing she got into the red headed boy's arms once she planted her feet on the floor she slipped out of his grasp and took off.

Running aimlessly around the kitchen. Looking for the chase. The head chef quickly threw the rolling pin in her direction but she was unhesitating and ducked under the fast moving wood. With a quick breath of air she blew the fallen hair out of her face and right in front of her was another cook. This one was less hostile but that wasn't what drew her eyes to his hands, The same fish she took a bite out of did.

Crawling forward on the floor she grabbed the fish from his hand, He attempted in grabbing it but she was way to fast. Combing the black long hair from his face he gave up and went back to work. Looking around she took another bite from the fish.

With a mouth full of cooked fish she mumbled, " Can I have another? " Of course the answer was no. Sighing she took another bite out of the scaly, half eaten creature. Her quick ability to eat something so distastefully and was able to stomach it showed she was a Kelvic. Of course there could be other possible reasons but this was in the top list of possibility.

Elan scowled as the girl rushed off, continuing to cause chaos in the enclosed space. "Wait!" He combed his hair back from his forehead and dashed after the girl as she settled with her fish. He conveniently blocked the head cook from advancing from the other side of the kitchen and grabbed the girl by the upper arms. Not roughly, but firmly. "Are you insane!? That was supposed to be the main dish tonight."

The head cook was spouting obscenities. Through it all Elan heard him ask if he knew the girl. "No, and don't bellow like that it makes you look like a puffer fish." Elan ducked as the cook reached for then chucked a wooden cutting board at him.

"Time to go." He said to Rosalie. "Now please, come on." He tugged on her arms to bring her and her fish towards the back door, he muttered quietly. "I'll buy you some ale to wash down that fish."

" Sorry. " That word lingered for a minute but as she was being dragged shamefully away from the kitchen she took another bit of the fish and threw it at the head chef he ducked but she managed to grab a handful of small grapes and put one in her mouth.

For some reason Rosalie was always hungry. Finally she scrambled to her feet. The word ale burned in the back of her mind but she was so thirsty she didn't argue. A shadowed look of depression shadowed her face as they got closer and closer to the Tavern. Loud noises rang from outside the walls, Laughter and shouts of inaudible words.

As they made their way to the tavern after going around back Elan stopped and looked at Rosalie. He suspected she was a Kelvic. Between the behavior and the eyes, she must be. His annoyance flagged and he patted Rosalie on the shoulder. "It's alright, it's just you shouldn't do things like that. People pay for that food. The cooks get most of the dishes that aren't paid for taken out of their earnings. Thankfully that fish was a gift from a recreational fisherman that only wanted it long enough to weigh and be recognized for it, then he brought it here so it wouldn't be wasted." Elan combed his hair back with his fingers again and made some clicking whistles with his mouth, the equivalent of a sigh back in Wind Reach.

"I'm Elan, what's your name?" He touched her back gently to guide her into the tavern and to a table near the door, the servers could see them but the cooks couldn't.

" That-That's good to hear. " Almost she came to stuttering out of fear but her shoes were planted on the doorway of the tavern but she realized her halt and continued. " Rosalie. Rosalie Irvin. " The last name was rather common, The last name of a drunken old vagabond.

Slowly she took her seat, Normally it would have been basic manors to look her speaker in the eye. But there was something she deliberately avoid, Eye contact. The expression on her face was so fearful, Almost like you could see her small brown ears pinned to the back of her head in submission.

A server came over and asked them what they would take, Gesturing toward Rosalie she said softly, " Just W-Water. " Then the server went over to Elan and asked him the same.

There was a frightening glaze over her eyes as they darted around as though she was looking for somebody.

As the server came over Elan waved his hand, "Whatever's on tap, water it down a bit I have to go back to work later." When the server left Elan turned to Rosalie.

For a moment Elan looked truly flustered. "Hey now. Don't worry it's no that big a deal, I just didn't want the head cook to attack you. I can see you're Kelvic, can't have you changing in the kitchen and going after the staff. Of course for all I know you turn into a kitten." He rubbed his eyes. "My apologies, that was uncalled for."

He leaned on the table and crossed his arms. "Are you in some sort of trouble? You look like a scared rabbit."

Finally Rosalie gave up the pointless search for the man she feared, Grabbing the water that was placed in front of her she offered the waitress a smile and she nodded. Turning back to Elan she gave a puzzled look, " Kitten. " Taking in a deep breath she followed her legs up, " It's fine, I get that a lot. "

Taking one more look around she answered his question, " No, No trouble for now. " Then she lifted the water up to her lips but did not drink it. Slowly she placed it back down. A man stumbled threw the door. Grey hair streaked his once black hair and looked around but he had not seen her. There he was. Turning her head slight as for him not to see her.

"Rose, can I call you that? What were you doing in that kitchen?" He frowned and took a sip of his watered ale as he looked around. He let his eyes skim the crowd, seeing a few newer faces than before. "Who's that near-elder that looks to be searching for someone? Might he be looking for you?" Elan's gaze hardened slightly. "Maybe I'll call him over? Have a good chat about what you were doing in that kitchen, I don't have all day, Rose."

Elan was mostly bluffing, he could see Rosalie was afraid of something. He might not be the nicest guy around but he didn't turn scared girls over to shifty looking men on a regular basis. He subtly shifted to hide Rosalie from the man's gaze, appearing to get more comfortable in his chair, he raised his brows at Rosalie. Waiting.
