This is a thread set up for all the gifts I make. As I can only really work when inspiration hits me, due mostly because of two high maintenance characters and a university program that is busy as Hai, I only really make things as presents and spur of the moment projects. So please don't ask! Or get offended if I haven't made you one!

I have a bad tendency to not warn people about this, and just throw a PM at them and say 'Here I Made You a Thing' - so please don't take offence! It's not that I don't like your other boxcodes (If you have others), it's just that I saw potential and wanted it realised.

I'm also not going to claim that I'm brilliant, because I'm still new as heck at this kind of thing.

I feel like I should mention that stuff like colours can be changed at your fancy with no offence taken, I just spend hours on colour scheming if I do, so I don't THE SHADING IS OFF. The Raging Surface

Callipsia's softspoken personality is matched by her features. Standing at five foot nine inches, her body has almost finished filling out as she has grown from a girl to a woman, giving her ample curves at the waist and hips. Her light brown hair, bleached blond on top from all the exposure to the sun, falls in light waves just past her sunkissed shoulders. Freckles dusted across her nose and cheeks give her an air of innocence that perhaps shouldn't be there. Her broad shoulders are always pulled back, her long neck is always pulled up high, and her pert ears are always tilted one way or another. Her nose is thin, her lips are full, and her chin rounded and always lowered to someone else. But most notably, as all Svefra have, her deep, vibrant blue eyes that name her Lakivu's daughter.

Pictured above is her pod tattoo, which she wears with quiet pride on her right forearm. She had plans for more tattoos before the incident took place - perhaps more will still occur.


Beneath the Stirring Waters

Callipsia ebbs and flows with the sea. She is a quiet personality, who slips under others in conversations, and aims to please everyone. Like water, she adapts to all of those around her, at the expense of her own happiness or comfort. When she does get time to herself, she will practice unarmed combat with her like-minded pod family, sing shanties to pass the time, and try to keep her sister Aquia out of trouble. She laughs easily and loves being around her family, but freezes when she is put in the center of attention. Her public speaking skills leave much to be desired, as do her pressured decision making skills. But she is well meaning, and always puts the needs of her pod before herself. As the birth daughter of the Lia, she does her best to live up to the standards her mother set, even if she fails most time she tries.

Callipsia also takes her devotion to Lakivu very seriously. She prays to him every sunrise, and thanks him for the Pardisa that guides their pod, and the Tavan that graces her life. Every evening, she thanks him for every good thing he could have given, such as kind seas, good winds, good fishing, and so on. She prays to him for guidance in all such matters - as she is not sure who exactly her father is (and Lia Tatianna is not either), she truly sees Lakivu as her true father, and takes her faith to him very seriously.

Callipsia's Tavan Visi is a female yellow lipped sea krait approximately one and a half years old, and five feet long.

History

Most of Calli's childhood was calm and peaceful. By the time she was born, the Tempest pod was a well established, proud pod with a sloop of it's own, and Tatianna was a respected Lia by Svefra (and feared by non-Svefra). As Calli reached adulthood, she began to apprentice sea navigation, and wanted to be a part of the pod decisions on travel. She had made some mistakes, but Lia Tatianna was patient with her, as she had given birth to her.

To be fleshed out further with flashbacks.

And then, the incident occured.

Calli was jarred awake by a sudden jolt in the ship; much stronger than as though they had hit something, much more powerful. She rose to walk above board and saw a flurry of fire above her, storms of it falling like rain. Her face contorted in confusion, tears fell from her face. She reflexively grabbed her pod-sister Nerida, and kept low as battles raged around her. Her eyes grabbed for her Tavan, Marli, to find the sea otter's body limp in the water, blood seeping about it. A dark question raised in her mind, one she didn't want answered, one she never wanted to hear - she tried to pray to Lakivu, but heard it before she could open her lips.

"The Lia Tatianna has fallen!"

Looking at her pod-sister desperately, she turned back around to the barracks, finding the smallest room to hide in, the safest room to hide in, where nobody or no thing could touch them. Clutching each other under the beds, with only a small hole to provide them with fresh air in the smoke- filled cabin, Calli stifled whispers to Lakivu - asking him to preserve her pod.

Oceanus Mark 1: Calli wears her gnosis tattoo with equal pride to her pod tattoo, just above it on her upper arm, as it was given to her upon birth. She often holds it when she prays to Lakivu and imagines that she feels the movement of the creatures and plants as she does so.

Effect:

First Mark: Marked individuals can first and foremost spot Otani readily. Otani will recognize them and often seek them out to play and communicate. Individuals with one Laviku mark can also drink salt water and have the mark automatically convert it to fresh water for ocean survival. Individuals know the direction of the sea if they are on land and how far away it is (in aprox miles). They also immediately recognize where progression tide is, meaning if it is incoming or outgoing or in transition between.

[size=50][webfont=kochroma]Callipsia's softspoken personality is matched by her features. Standing at five foot nine inches, her body has almost finished filling out as she has grown from a girl to a woman, giving her ample curves at the waist and hips. Her light brown hair, bleached blond on top from all the exposure to the sun, falls in light waves just past her sunkissed shoulders. Freckles dusted across her nose and cheeks give her an air of innocence that perhaps shouldn't be there. Her broad shoulders are always pulled back, her long neck is always pulled up high, and her pert ears are always tilted one way or another. Her nose is thin, her lips are full, and her chin rounded and always lowered to someone else. But most notably, as all Svefra have, her deep, vibrant blue eyes that name her Lakivu's daughter.

Pictured above is her pod tattoo, which she wears with quiet pride on her right forearm. She had plans for more tattoos before the incident took place - perhaps more will still occur.[/size][/webfont]

[size=50][webfont=kochroma]Callipsia ebbs and flows with the sea. She is a quiet personality, who slips under others in conversations, and aims to please everyone. Like water, she adapts to all of those around her, at the expense of her own happiness or comfort. When she does get time to herself, she will practice unarmed combat with her like-minded pod family, sing shanties to pass the time, and try to keep her sister Aquia out of trouble. She laughs easily and loves being around her family, but freezes when she is put in the center of attention. Her public speaking skills leave much to be desired, as do her pressured decision making skills. But she is well meaning, and always puts the needs of her pod before herself. As the birth daughter of the Lia, she does her best to live up to the standards her mother set, even if she fails most time she tries.

Callipsia also takes her devotion to Lakivu very seriously. She prays to him every sunrise, and thanks him for the Pardisa that guides their pod, and the Tavan that graces her life. Every evening, she thanks him for every good thing he could have given, such as kind seas, good winds, good fishing, and so on. She prays to him for guidance in all such matters - as she is not sure who exactly her father is (and Lia Tatianna is not either), she truly sees Lakivu as her true father, and takes her faith to him very seriously.[/webfont]

By the time she was born, the Tempest pod was a well established, proud pod with a sloop of it's own, and Tatianna was a respected Lia by Svefra (and feared by non-Svefra). As Calli reached adulthood, she began to apprentice sea navigation, and wanted to be a part of the pod decisions on travel. She had made some mistakes, but Lia Tatianna was patient with her, as she had given birth to her.

And then, the incident occured.

Calli was jarred awake by a sudden jolt in the ship; much stronger than as though they had hit something, much more powerful. She rose to walk above board and saw a flurry of fire above her, storms of it falling like rain. Her face contorted in confusion, tears fell from her face. She reflexively grabbed her pod-sister Nerida, and kept low as battles raged around her. Her eyes grabbed for her Tavan, Marli, to find the sea otter's body limp in the water, blood seeping about it. A dark question raised in her mind, one she didn't want answered, one she never wanted to hear - she tried to pray to Lakivu, but heard it before she could open her lips.

"The Lia Tatianna has fallen!"

Looking at her pod-sister desperately, she turned back around to the barracks, finding the smallest room to hide in, the safest room to hide in, where nobody or no thing could touch them. Clutching each other under the beds, with only a small hole to provide them with fresh air in the smoke- filled cabin, Calli stifled whispers to Lakivu - asking him to preserve her pod.[/webfont][/size][/box][/center][/style]

She often holds it when she prays to Lakivu and imagines that she feels the movement of the creatures and plants as she does so.

Effect:

First Mark: Marked individuals can first and foremost spot Otani readily. Otani will recognize them and often seek them out to play and communicate. Individuals with one Laviku mark can also drink salt water and have the mark automatically convert it to fresh water for ocean survival. Individuals know the direction of the sea if they are on land and how far away it is (in aprox miles). They also immediately recognize where progression tide is, meaning if it is incoming or outgoing or in transition between.[/webfont][/size][/box][/center][/style2]
