"Oy! Bring it on over this way!" One of the older workers of the sight barked as several of the men carried about logs and other essentials, the noise that filled the cool crisp air was that of loud confident bangs and clanks, as the community of Zeltiva banded together to restore what they could of the University. Such hard times. Yet it was the moments that followed after them, that really seemed to bring the people of the city together as a whole. A unit. Such was the reason why Ricky had decided to show up today, though he was just about as clueless as every other person who volunteered for. Seeing as how he was one of the larger men in the area, Ricky was given the task of carrying large things around like beams and poles, generally any given material thing that was essential in the rebuilding of Zeltiva's glorious learning center.

"What a petchin mess!" He sighed as he ran his fingers through the backside of his hair, a kick at the loose rubble that resided next to a larger pile. There were quantities of it to be sure, all which needed to be picked up and cleaned out, hopefully some of it would be purposed in the restoration rather than trashed.

"Maze! We need you to help carry these beams over there!"

"Yea yea, Oi'm comin." He assured the fellow that called to him, he was rather aggravated with how easy the man could bark orders. Then again this man was one of the brains of the operation, so to question him in this event was rather pointless really. Ricky walked on over to the pile of beams as several other workers and volunteers managed to pick up a beam, and in turn with a bit of effort Ricky himself found a way to position the heavy thing onto his right shoulder, and lift it up as he straightened out with a grunt. It felt heavy sure enough but nothing he couldn't handle, he was after all a hardened fisherman who served in the Wave Guard. "Where t' mate?"

"Over there, towards the wall. They need more support beams to hold up the stonework." The burly individual pointed and Ricky looked in the general direction towards the wall, much of it looked to be burned or molded into something different. It was strange to look at actually, yet it was all in part of the mages. Those who escaped had literally shaped and twisted things to their will, they did the one thing they wanted to do and in turn wrought destruction on the place every Zeltivan called home.

"Roi, got it." The fisherman nodded as he headed on over, a sweat already started to break over his brow. He hadn't been here long but already put to work, he found that he was serving his part in the community. Zeltiva needed it's strongest and smartest about, those that were bound to help in reconstructing the University were welcome after all.

Where There is Heart

Pulren reached into a bucket of water, cupping his hand and taking a sip of the cooling liquid before passing it off. When he had arrived at the University for the cleanup, everyone had been standing around until large groups became smaller groups and the whole of it became a bit more organized. It was still a little haphazard, but he felt a sense of accomplishment for his part so far.

The masons had been working on a few walls that had come down from the fire damage but the work stopped as the mortar had. Water was needed for the mortar and for the other tasks that all of those men and women who toiled beneath Syna that day were performing, so Pulren had arranged a fire carry. It had taken enough time initially to send people out for buckets. Stables, inns, all sorts of shops had offered their buckets for the effort. Someone had to step up and get some kind of organization going, so the young Guard did so, as he was becoming accustomed.

Once buckets were in hand, Pulren searched through the volunteers for others like himself who lacked skill worthy of craft and strength worthy of labor. In a city of students, this was not a difficult task. A line was formed from the general gathering point of materials all the way south through the streets to the Docks. Once buckets were filled, they were passed from volunteer to volunteer until they reached the University. From there, Pulren had suggested that some of the younger teenagers carry the filled buckets to wherever they were needed and return with the empties. Those would then head down the circuit toward the ocean once more.

As the system began to move, Pulren joined the line and began to pass buckets. He felt pride in aiding his city, though he had wished so many had been present for the actual defense of the University. Might not have needed to do so much restoration, in that case. Either way, it was water under the bridge, or in this case in a bucket.

Where There is Heart

Ricky followed along with the other two men as they carried along the beams for more support, each man carried at least two or three of them on their shoulders to reduce the trip. Ricky was able to manage three on each shoulder as they arrived where most of the construction was being made, the sounds of hammers being smashed against wood and stone the tune that filled the day. "Oy, Maze! We need yew over 'ere! Yer a pretty tall guy so yer perfect fer this."" Another worker called out just several paces down from where Ricky was. The fisherman complied and approached the bulky brown headed figure with arms crossed, eyes caught in a squint from the light of the sun combined with sweat about to drip in them. "We need ya t' hammer these nails into the upper beams, make sure you do it good to otherwise the frame won't hold."

"Got it." He stated as he helped the man stand the beam up to position it against another, once he was given a hammer and a few nails he was told where to hammer them down at, and bashed each head of the nail as good as he could to make sure they remained in place. Now the beams were getting the support they needed, but it didn't seem to end there seeing as how Rick had more places and more beams to hammer down. After about four more supports were done and hammered into under the watch of the construction man that instructed him, he was tasked with the handling of sawing wood for more beams. This involved him literally holding a woodcutting saw, and of course sawing it into wood where lines were drawn by charcoal. Dese construction workers know what t'eir doin. He admired as he continued the work some more, he had to admit not only was the act of sawing wood tiresome but it knew how to work out the back muscles in turn.

After he continued this for about fifteen more chimes he noticed another face was present here, Pulren who was one of his squad members had been helping out too. Carrying the buckets of water to the people that needed it, it was sure enough an important part in helping out with the reconstruction of the University. As he stood there covered in sweat and grime, his forearms gritty with the dust created from the saw, he made sure to give Pulren a friendly grin and a wave before he resumed the work once more with the saw in his hand.

Comments :
Bodybuilding is the art of honing the strength of one's body through disciplined training via an intense physical regime. In other words, one focuses on bodybuilding because they intend to bodybuild through various focused exercises. Hence, I gave no points in it because that was not the focus on this thread nor was there any actual muscle training involved.
