Cardon Ludocus Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 17 Years Old Birthday: 3rd of Winter, 497 Birthplace: Sunberth Appearance: Cordon is a slight figure, skinny and of average height. He's got a heart-shaped face and black hair that he pulls back and keeps cut roughly at shoulder level. His eyes are a deep brown and his nose is thin and straight. His skin tone resembles that of a Svefra that has spent too much time away from the sea, pale in comparison but just a shade darker than most humans. Character Concept Cordon is rather shy, typically preferring to quietly watch and investigate to find answers for himself rather than asking. He's spent most of his life with his mother as his only boon companion, and since she died in the late Summer of 515 he's found himself at a loss of how to interact with many people. When pushed he falls back on an air of professionalism, but is far from a confrontationalist and will only fight if he feels there is no other way. Despite his tendancy for lurking he's a fairly kind young man, and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty to help someone he cares about. Character History Cordon was born in Sunberth to Annalee Ludocus, who never spoke of his father for one reason or another. He spent the first six years of his life there, though he remembers little other than his home there, the street they lived on, and the hurry in which they left. His mother Annalee was an accomplished Projector and Aurist, as well as an acolyte of Akajia, facts that she kept from her son until her deathbed confession. She had sustained severe lung damage while in Sunberth after she was nearly poisoned to death, and the damage to her lungs slowly killed her over the next 11 years. The trip to Syliras was managed by some Svefra who his mother convinced to help them, and stayed with them for nearly a year as they made their way to the Suvan Sea. This is where he learned a passable amount of their language, and still holds onto those memories to this day. Upon finally arriving to Syliras, Annalee slowly became too weakened by her internal injuries to work, leaving Cardon to make money enough for them to eat. A combination of her tutilage and his own basic skills slowly brought him into the world of a young spy, and he has since been able to make money discovering who the butchers wife is sleeping around with, and who's been stealing the blacksmiths silver ingots. On her death bed his mother managed to unlock the ability to Project within him before her passing, and he now does it simply to feel close to her. He does not know what the strange black stone triangle amulet his mother gave him is, or why she told him to keep it close but hidden, but he treasures it none the less. |
