Info: Sweet as sugar and kind as quite as a butterfly, Gwendoline is the last person someone would expect to be a blacksmith. In fact, on listening to her, most people doubt she's ever lifted a hammer in her life. That is until people see her at the forge in the midst of slamming a hammer. While she is too modest to admit it, she enjoys hitting things and when she isn't in the helping the owner, who happens to be her brother Daedalus, with a project; she's constantly found running Dagwood Metal's shop as its Clerk.

Info: Growing up, Darik distanced himself from the family unit much to his families dismay. It wasn't long before Darik found himself understanding that blacksmithing or crafting wasn't for him. Time after time he tried to find a craft to focus on, and with every failure his resentment for crafting grew. His frustration grew after being bested over and over by his siblings which darkened his heart further to the arts which pushed him to new found lengths of violence.

He found his way with a weapon and decided that if he couldn't build, he could protect. He became a fighter in his own right who would often fight his siblings battles for them while growing up when they ran into trouble. He now works as a laborer at Dagwood Metal preforming odd jobs for the business.

Behind the counter sat a fat man with several scars running across his face. His hair was unkempt, and there appeared to be several decades' worth of grease underneath his fingernails. A patch sewn onto the shirt he was wearing declared his name to be "ZEKE" -- assuming he was the original owner of the shirt.

"Yeah, whaddaya lookin' fer?" That was his standard opening whenever anyone walked inside.

Info:Kander Carver is known as the "Cutter", but this isn't for any dark, mysterious, or silent reasons. Of the brothers, he is the stronger, the one that tends to cut down trees and haul them home for carving, which is his brother's specialty. The Cutter cuts down the trees, cuts the lumber, and so on.

When comparing the brothers, one will find they are identical in appearance, except for small personal preferences such as hair length, how long they'll go before shaving their face, or clothing worn. Besides this, they can only be separated by personality, and even that doesn't change much. Kander is known for being the gentle silent type, honest but never telling anybody what they shouldn't know. To most people, he is as trustworthy as anybody in Sunberth can be. A hardworking laborer with incredible natural strength from decades of cutting wood. He's a man with a seemingly simple non-chaotic life, but that's what happens when you actually live outside of Sunberth, you have that luxury of living (almost) in peace.

Info: Keith, either called Dean or Carver, is remarkably like his brother Kander. He may be more talkative than his brother, but he's not arrogant or obnoxious in his speech. Just as hard of a worker at Kander is, Keith is skilled more with his hands and their finesse rather than muscle and strength. Where Keith will still go an cut lumber for countless reasons, he will more often than not be found at the workshop carving or preparing wood for personal use or sale. Keith has been known to, on occasion, go into the City and assist Ol' Legs with repairs, when there's a short time frame and a lot of work to be done.

Dean himself is a straightforward man, never beating around the bush or verbally avoiding the point to conversations. He speaks when he needs something, wants something, or feels his words are important, or a question is to be answered, other than that he is just as silent as his brother, or the wood they work with. When potential customers or employees come to the Cutters and Carvers, Keith is always the one to deal with them, strike deals, make sales, and hire people for work. It's rumored that when the Night Eyes came looking for control of the place, he struck a deal with them behind Kander's back, but there's no visible resentment between the brothers, either one would take an arrow to the chest for the other.

Info:There's not a lot to know about Hannah except that she's a young woman who looks slightly older than she is. Maturing early for her age, she's only about seventeen but has been a part of Killroy's Kennel for a long time. There are always rumors about Killroy preying on young girls, and the fact that one of the more stable lasting employees of Killroy's is Hannah doesn't particularly help fight such rumors. Nevertheless, Hannah has never admitted to Killroy taking advantage of her, though she doesn't deny her resentment of him for something. She's a good strong adorable hard working girl that knows her horses, not much else to say. Everyone that knows Hannah says she's a perfect child, so heavily opposed to the rest of Sunberth that it's a shock that she's even a local here.

Info: His name is not Kilroy, it really is Killroy. Many believe the misspelling is a warning, but in reality the man is just a silly git. He never takes a conversation seriously and is one of the most annoying inhabitants of Sunberth, but he serves his purpose and does a good job playing to the more powerful members of the city. So he lives. His business makes him exceedingly rich and he rarely, if ever, has to buy new stock, meaning he can very well buy anything he wants and still have money to live in luxury. A man of a slim build, Killroy was born to be a thief. Albeit an enterprising one. He can be found with a smile on his face and a spring in his step, stealing horses and selling them back to their owners.

Info:Kane Baker, a man in his thirties, is the only survivor of a family of eleven. His mother was a widowmaker and his five brothers and five sisters who dwindled one by one until only he and his mother were left. It was from her, at the tender age of fourteen, that he inherited the shop after her mysterious disappearance. Later, he captured the heart of a myrian woman and lives with her to this day in his tiny little shop.

Of his younger wife Kiarsha, Kane cherishes her, and feeds her well enough to support two children after a third died in stillbirth.

When asked by the men at the taverns how he netted such a strong woman he hints, "The way to a myrian's heart, is through their stomach."

Kiarsha Baker tends the bakery portion and has equal parts in dealing with the customers amidst caring for her growing family. However, she always explained that their marriage was a matter of common interests. Besides, Kane always had such good tastes.

She swears she'll never hand out her mother's blood pudding recipes though...

Info:Karos is the definition of a difficult man who is locked in a routine. Regardless of day or season, he can be found at the rearmost forge with the whole of his focus being upon his work. For over twenty years, Karos has been a constant sight within the city of Sunberth; yet he has never been vocal or public about his supporting of the Sun's Birth. Some speculate that it was said organization that fronted him the funds to start his Armory, whilst others believe that he is simply an old friend of the Warmarshal. However, it would be an impossibility to coax an answer to this question out of the quiet smith. At the end of the day, Karos is not fond of people nor being interrupted in his work. As such, it is a rarity for him to accept requests for custom orders; even if he is the greatest smith in the whole city. Should a man be bold enough to ask, he might be met with a grunt...but on rare occasions, Karos responds with almost-sarcastic requests. Completing these tasks, or otherwise impressing the grumpy smith, are the sole ways of earning his interest...and more importantly, his handiwork.*Receiving a "quest" from Karos is a moderated event. Completing one will access requests for Izentor-marked weapons and armor; provided that one has the coin. PM your local storyteller for more details!

Info: For as long as any man can recall, Lawrence Wright has been the right hand of the Knight's Armory. Having been one of the few that Karos calls friend, Lawrence has worked alongside the grumpy Isur for as long as the establishment has been open. Being that he was an ex-Knight of Syliras, the Armory was named in light of his prior occupation; for despite defecting, Lawrence is proud of his former life. Unlike his friend, who is notorious for his cold disposition, Lawrence is a touch more sociable. He has no qualms about engaging customers about custom orders and tends to be the most fair of the three in terms of pricing. However, the scope of his work generally keeps him too busy to accommodate the majority of the customers; leaving them therefore to be preyed upon by Nathaniel's greedy fingers. Of the three, Lawrence seems to be tasked with producing the most "menial" products; such as horseshoes and general tools over weapons and armor. However, every now and then he has been known to craft armaments that rival those of Karos himself.

Info: Nathaniel Frobisher was nothing more than a common thief until he came upon the Knight's Armory years ago. Frail, malnourished, and desperate, he attempted to steal a handful of armaments in order to purchase a hot meal. In a rare fit of kindness, Karos himself pardoned the child and set him to work doing chores about the Armory. From polishing swords to dusting, Nathaniel did it all; and in return he was rewarded with his first honest wage. Over the years, Karos has come to look after Nathaniel as if he were his own son and has taught him the way of the smith. While he has leaps and bounds to go, Nathaniel is rather talented when it comes to crafting armor; especially leather. At present, Nathaniel has grown into a young adult and has recently become the face of the establishment. Each and every customer that enters the Knight's Armory is greeted with his warm grin and helpful disposition...and sometimes, even his trademark price hiking.

Info:Edwin Deu is a man who has been cultivated by the culture surrounding him. From birth, he knew very little stability; only the harsh life that was the streets of Sunberth. Survival came through begging, stealing, and scrounging together whatever rags he could to weather the harsh winters. According to his own words, a woman took pity on him during his adolescence and took him into her home. She gave him a warm meal, stitched together his rags into something decent, and then sent him on his way. From then on, Edwin supposedly began working for this same woman; helping her around the home and learning how to sew. As an adult, he decided to use the skills that had saved him from the streets to help out the men and women of his city. Thus, Deu's Vestments was born. Personally, Edwin is a quiet soul who has a tendency to mumble to himself whilst altering garbs. Socially awkward at times, he is even prone to breaking out into peals of laughter at random...but at the end of the day, this eccentric man offers a low price and decent garments to the people of Sunberth.

Info:Bashful Doler isn't really bashful, but it's simple a nickname given to the man as a mockery for his paranoia (proven by his own self-sustained security of shields and glyphs). The man is known to be insanely smart and clever, but more so a genius of magics. Sadly, like most magicians who delve further into the studies than they ought to, Doler has lost his mind and now refuses even so much as the breath of another to touch him.

Doler is actually younger than he appears, though his occasional series of overgiving in his past has lead to quite a taxing effect on his physical and mental health. He never leaves home and never has humanoid contact, and he seems, at least from outside that heavily shielded room, content. He often trades his goods, poisons and potions, not for money, as he goes nowhere to spend it, but instead requires food, clothing, or other necessities. And so far, he has lasted two years in this state.

There's a rumor that Doler himself places the shields over the catacomb doors in the Temple, but unless Doler was a Nuit (Which can't be proven or disproven), then he was much too young to have placed it there.

Info: The youngest of the Hanhi sisters, Lana isn't as business savvy as her two older sisters but wanting to follow in their footsteps she began her own business when she was only ten. Her older sister had just begun her herbalism shop and she had wanted to help, unfortunately not old enough she was turned to the back rooms to tend to the herbs out of sight. Lana didn't mind tending the herbs, preferring the ones with the pretty flowers. This sparked the idea that she could help her sister by selling flowers. However, Eva and Nali didn't want to have flowers sold in the shop.

Lana didn't let that deter her and began coming up with a plan to sell on her own, first out of a small basket that she'd purchases with her meager wages. Slowly saving money about the age of 15 she purchased a rickety cart. This cart was her pride and joy and she cleaned it up the best she could and began to sell flower plants, garlands, bouquets and even a few herb plants.

She is very straight forward and not afraid to offer her services, from a fair distance. Calling out is not something she is afraid of and she will try to sweet talk you into buying anything she can offer. She loves to help with weddings and decorating for parties.

Info: Max is an old man with a past filled with conflict. A former Syliran Knight he retains his status in their society discretely, using the bathhouse as a place of shelter for any knight which comes to sunberth, though cautions them to change into a better disguise if they wish to enter sunberth proper. He mans the Bathhouse with his wife Natlana, a retired mage knight of the order. They have two children who were returned to Syliras to train for the knighthood long ago. He retired at the rank of a stewart knight.

They remain close lipped about their past to anyone, and for the past thirty years have simply been 'the nice old couple of the springs.' No one really messes with Max or Natlana though, they have been known to lay down the law on their property. They have several extra rooms available for travelers to stay in.

Info: Natlana is a charming old woman, far removed from the normal haughty manner of many syliran knights. She owns the bathhouse with her husband and watches Sunberth society discretely. She is the one who usually tends to the visitors, using the bathhouse as a place of shelter for any knight which comes to sunberth, though cautions them to change into a better disguise if they wish to enter sunberth proper. As a retired warrior mage of the order she stands firm guard over herself and her husband , ever cautious and wary of those who stay there though extraordinarily polite. She retired at the rank of a stewart knight.

Rumors say that only once has she ever had to burn a party of bathers for being too 'disruptive.' But these rumors of her abilities with fire pale in comparison to the fact a couple of older warrior mages, namely Equuleus once called her the "Goddess of Ash."

After her parents were slain in the crossfires of a vicious gang war, Cosette grew up in the Sunset Quarter with her big sister Ruby, always dreaming of aspiring to greater and more prosperous heights. She began working at a very early age, diligently pushing her way to the top no matter the cost, getting employed as a thief, a prostitute, a shopkeeper, and everything in between. Her lucky chance finally came when she was picked up as the unlikely apprentice to the previous jeweller in the Gated Community, who died just two years after taking her on. Inheriting the shop thanks to her business savvy, Cosette has become well-known in the Gated Community and is widely regarded as a pleasant, but fierce businesswoman.

Trayto is known for producing his own honey, and selling the exquisite jars to the public. People say that's because he grows his own bees in a hive on the roof of the building. which helps prevent wanton thieves from scaling the rooftops. That is true, as some suppose, but his favorite thing to use them for is when Kallina needs someone to talk. Normally filling a burlap sack with the nasty buzzing critters and placing it over someone's head is a frightful enough situation to get them to squeal.

The Eypharian tends to be arrogant towards others who aren't buying, or those he is unfamiliar with, but charming to his regular customers. He's even been known to pick up his guitar and sing old sea tunes once in a while. Everyone always seems to compliment him on his performances whether he does well or not, for it is unwise to anger this six armed Eypharian.

Info: Linellia is the one woman that can Ferret out any scrap of information in Sunberth, no matter how big or small. Armed with a sharp mind, quick wits, and a passion for her craft Linellia can be one of the most intimidating women in the whole city, at least with those that know her. She takes pride in this fact.

The woman tends to be present within the Simpering Seacow, either sleeping in one of the upper rooms, or found at one of the few indoor tables the walk in delicatessen/bar has. Linellia is obviously a waitress at the Simpering Seacow, and judging by her and Trayto's displays of public affection for each other, is a lover to the Eypharian owner. The two of them run the business together, though there are noticeable times when one or the other is missing. They always seem to have an excuse or plausible reason for this though.

Info:Merv is a simple man who only wants to live a simple life. Having long outlived his brother who co-owned the Pig's Foot for years, and now his wife departing from the living, Merv is alone in his business, and it's all that's truly left of him. He loves the Pig's Foot as if it was his only child, because he has no children of his own it might really be cherished as one. Besides the easy observations that Merv is as old as dirt and had personally seen the rise and fall of various gangsters attempting to take over Sunberth. He plays their games, he pays his fines. He has learned long ago how dangerous it was to fight against the extortion, and it wasn't something you could fight for long.

Merv is a man that seems to hate people, when actually he only truly hates foreigners, especially when they try to suggest any sort of modifications to his tavern. For decades the place had been up and running just fine, and suggesting otherwise would show you a swift forceful exit. Oh, and the patrons always side with Merv, no matter what the decision.

Info: At a glance, Iselda Doubtfire seems to be a contrast to the reputation of Sunberth. She is neat, sweet, well-organized, and likes to keep a clean establishment. Having recently inherited ownership of the Gold Lodge from her departed father, Iselda has done everything in her power to keep the establishment running smoothly. Typically speaking, her guests are treated with the utmost respect and a warm smile...but if one gets rowdy or loose with their hands, things change in an instant. Iselda has no qualms about verbally tearing apart any man that shows her disrespect before kicking them out into the street. Brawls, excessive rowdiness, and overall unpleasantness are not tolerated under her watch; not by any stretch of the imagination. However, when treated with common courtesy, Iselda will make every visit to the Gold Lodge one to be remembered.

Info: Tarak began as a simple Sellsword who cast his lot in with the Sun's Birth during its earliest stages of life. Shortly after joining, he quickly gained a reputation for the sheer strength and brutality he displayed on the field of battle. For almost two decades, his diligent service resulted in his ascending to the rank Marshal within the organization's militant arm. While charged with leading expeditionary ventures in the name of the Dragoons, Tarak is most commonly seen within the Gold Lodge during down time. Silent as the grave, his presence is the definition of intimidating; especially to those fools who raise a ruckus within the establishment. According to rumor, Tarak and Iselda are lovers; leading the former to diligently see to it that any troublemakers are promptly dealt with. However, no one is brave...or foolish enough...to inquire about the validity of these claims. To date, Tarak can always be seen sitting at the bar of the Gold Lodge whilst watching Iselda from afar.

His family rejected him following this monumental blunder and Bartholomew was left with little choice other than starting anew somewhere...cheaper. As such, he mustered together whatever coin he had and made his way to Sunberth in order to survive through his sole skill: music. To date, he has managed to land a stable job working as the main source of evening entertainment within the Gold Lodge. However, he always seems to risk his employment...by flirting with whatever female passes by.

Info: Jaren Joander is the only son of the organization's very own Warmarshal. He, unlike the upstanding warrior who leads the Sun's Birth, is a stark contrast to everything his father represents. As opposed to adhering to any sort of personal Code or striving towards any honorable goals, Jaren is the sort of man who delights himself in the "finer things" that life has to offer. More often than not, these indulgences amount to spending copious sums of times within the local brothels and drinking as much ale as he can get his hands on. Due to his practically shameful behaviors, Jaren has been assigned command over the Barracks themselves. This role is, quite literally, one that has no degree of vitality whatsoever and often brings frustration to Jaren because of it. Regardless, the young warrior has ridden on the coattails of his father's triumphs since the days of his youth; even to the point of being named one of the organization's three Marshals. However...despite his numerous faults, Jaren is one of the deadliest swordsmen that Sunberth has ever seen.

Info: Prak Celewan is, quite literally, the most revered individual within the Barracks. He has been given the explicit duties of maintaining the Armory, assigning rooms, and general care for the Barracks as a whole. Despite the fact that Jaren has been placed in a position of superiority over him, both individuals are fully aware of who truly runs the Barracks. As such, Celewan runs a very tight ship and will not tolerate the slightest deviation from his commands. It is to be known that he is quite the agreeable individual, however, and that his edicts are few...but woe to those fools that break them. Having served faithfully within the Dragoons since the day of its conception, Celewan commands a multitude of respect and loyalty from his peers. He, as it is well known, will go to great length to ensure that his comrades are well cared for; even if it means butting heads with his “superior".

Info: Father Manowar is not a priest. Everyone just thinks he looks like one. He owns the Fish and lets everyone know by his massive girth, partaking in his product at all hours of the day. He's often drunk and wanders the patrons as the partake in various activities, overseeing the "Sign Up" Sheets and pandering to Captain Dullos every time she finds something wrong with his establishment. Which is just about every day. A jovial man, Manowar comes off as jolly and light hearted, spirited, he's always offering a smile and does what he can to please, but despite his massive stomach, he's no slouch. A previous sailor of a high caliber, Manowar can out drink just about anyone and has the record to prove it. Not too mention he can fight with a broken bottle better than just about any man alive.

Info: Grisham Grimswald is one of the conundrums of Sunberth with a past that no one really knows. Driven into despair by the failed induction and the subsequent death of his wife, ‘Espalia’ into reimancy this man has been further driven insane by magical overgiving. Indeed his actions and mannerisms seem to always belie a hint of desperation and a furtive sense of unease with the rest of the world. Often people will hear him muttering lamentations under his breath about a 'poor Espalia, my dear Espalia' and randomly crying.

Often times confused as a simple unwashed beggar, the stench of his rotting clothes make few dare to approach him. And his looks as a beggar make fewer seem to wish to hang around him. Most of the Sanctela view him as a mascot of sorts, as in his madness he has never once touched his reimancy again after ‘his poor Espalia’ died. Many seeking his tutelage of Auristics and Glyphing through rumors are often turned aside by the Sanctela’s resident number of beggars and hiding thieves.

Outside of the Sanctela when he is not wandering the streets begging, Grisham has sometime been seen in the company of Raven. One of the two leaders of the Night Eyes who seem to have a watchful eye within the more clustered areas of the tent city, such as the Sanctela. Is Grisham part of their network of eyes and ears?

No one really knows.

Info: Itzel the Swift was born alongside her twin sibling, Eleuia, within the city of Syliras. As an illegitimate child of a Knight and a Myrian Sellsword, early life was the definition of challenging. However, upon becoming of age, Itzel elected to follow in the footsteps of her sire and enter the Syliran Knights. For years, she then served the Order until eventually coming under the command of Jardeg Joander approximately twenty years in the past. Upon his defection, Itzel followed her commanding officer to Sunberth and took it upon herself to assume one of the more vital roles in the budding organization. She, as one of the Dragoons' Marshals, would see to the training of every single individual to take up the organization's banner. To date, she diligently accomplishes this task to the letter; and does so in a matter that is relentless. Itzel is incredibly demanding of her subordinates and will push them to their absolute limit time and time again. Those who fail to meet her standards often find themselves dismissed from the organization...yet those who meet her expectations earn a rare treasure: her respect.

Info: Although born only minutes after her sister, Eleuia is often reminded that she is the youngest of the two. For the majority of her life, Eleuia has followed after the footsteps of her sister; even when her desires conflicted with Itzel's goals. Her seemingly blind loyalty to her sibling led her to enter the Syliran Knights, yet she was deemed unworthy to ascend to full knighthood after some time. Surprisingly, this did not result in sorrow on Eleuia's part; but strangely enough...relief! It was then that Eleuia struck out on her own and became a Sellsword like her mother. Fate would have it that her trade would see her to settle in Sunberth; where she was eventually reunited with her elder sibling. Upon hearing about the budding Sun's Birth and the role her sister would play, Eleuia promptly joined in order to assist her. From that point forward, she has served as her sibling's right hand in all matters; and currently is the secondary instructor at the Proving Grounds. Unlike her relentless sibling, Eleuia demonstrates patience when training with her students and prefers one on one sessions to improve problem areas. However, just like Itzel, failure is not an option and will result in expulsion from the organization.

Info: Real name is unknown. Remmy is the one and only staff ever working at the Library, and she absolutely adores her books. She loves to read, loves to write, and loves to do math. It's an odd combination, Remmy and Sunberth, much like the building itself is mismatched. Remmy is, without a doubt, a strange person to behold.

Yet, how could the Library have such a well kept secret and the owner and operator of the building not have and equally mysterious private life? Remmy is what someone would call a vigilante, though there's not even any evidence to suggest this. She is smart and clever, but has plenty of reasons to be considered dangerous, if she was caught in her private life. What happens in the secret rooms of the Library, stays in the secret rooms of the library.

Info: Lotharia is a rare sight around Sunberth, but to anybody that watches her carefully (and lives to tell about it) will know she spends a large amount of time in the Library. The reasons are unknown, but it's most likely because wherever she goes, she leaves a trail of blood, and it is a place most ignored by the city. Little is known about Lotharia Bloodrunner except that she is a Drykas, she is incredibly dangerous, she is exiled from her homelands, and she works tirelessly to literally kill all corruption in the city of Sunberth.

Lotheria is one of the few known Vigilantes that cannot be intimidated, bribed, or extorted to back down. Killing her is the only way believed to make her forever leave alone all Factions that would seek to oppress and control the city, the denizens, and cause harm. She's difficult to earn the trust of, and even more difficult to kill.
