OOCBy the way Kujol is hiding out and the only ones who might know what he looks like or who he is are Ebonstryfe/Black Sun higher ups.

Kujol

Kujol was beside himself with worry. Not for himself, because he was ready to die at the moment he signed up on behalf of Siriana. But the fact that they were planning to leave Sunberth towards another region to build their strength back up. Losing Siriana and number of high level Dawn members was a blow. He was seen as a leader in these times but the hunt for his head was daunting and forever. They were finally planning on being together and leaving the clutches of the Ebonstryfe.

It was too late.

The Stryfe had found them, and Meredith would be at the might and mouth of a Lazarin. The Lazarin's were despicable beings thriving in the face of torture. After they had killed Siriana they scowered the place for members and executed them, sometimes on the spot. If they found out that Meredith was the Healer as well, no telling what they would do.

He would have to escape with his love. Before they were both captured. But they needed to fend these foes off.
--------------
Sevris

Sevris jumped from the scaffold and landed on the ground with his forces standing beside him. The new objective, capture or kill Kujol. For some reason they were opening the gates, something that spelled certain doom. Doesn't seem like something a General would do.

It mattered not. Focus. Sevris was the most dangerous fighter on the battlefield next to the General himself. The Akalak was a few yards away disappearing into a house nearby with his guards hot on his tail. Immediately a slew of soldiers protected the entrance.

They're planning on running? Not this time. No one escapes.

"Stryfe raid that building. Capture the Akalak and the human woman. They are Ravoks most wanted!" Sevris ordered. "Miriam and Darren we have a new hunt. We have to deal with Kujol ourselves. He has defeated us at every encounter. He shall meet his match."

"Lead the way Marshal," Miriam said spirited by Sevris's fighting words.

Sevris charged forward towards 5 Dawn members guarding the entrance. One of them jumped the gap between him and with his longsword stabbed forward hoping to one hit kill Sevris.

Unfortunately the Lazarin was already moving out of the way and in another motion lifted his backblade upwards and it lopped his hand off. His screaming was loud but cut off after receiving a swift kick to his stomach quieted the scream. The next guard didn't even have a chance to attack before Sevris continued his assault and gave a spinning back kick to the other guard. He twirled in the air from the force and landed on his back with a grunted gasp.

Sevris yelled and impaled his blade into the man. They bore no armor so nothing could stop Sevris's blade from killing him. In seconds two were dead and the rest of his Soldiers ganged up on the rest of the guards. With his beckons Sevris, Miriam and Darren brushed past and entered the house.

-------------
Kujol

Kujol was mindful. There was only one exit out of the house with Meredith in his hands. His most trusted Apprentices gifted with sword and magic, he trusted they could protect them while he found another route out of the Gated Community.

But there was an impostor. A "military advisor" would never have been given access to this place nor known he was there. Probably belonged to the Black Sun along with the golden Marshal from Ravok. I guess he would die as well.

August unknowingly had set himself up for being to close to the Akalak. After grabbing Meredith his guards covered her and August had been spouting something the Akalak was ignoring.

And in one quick motion, grabbed his Lakan and grabbed the human with his free hand. In a deadly embrace, his blue arms was cutting off the blood circulation and oxygen in August's neck.

Kujol's guard pulled out his own Longsword and held it towards August. "Now you are my prisoner. How foolish do you think we are? Anyone hired is run through us beforehand. Lets see if he's important or not. And use him to barter our war out of this." Kujol said to his prisoner August.

------------------------
Sevris

Sevris kicked down the wooden door with his boots. The wood splintered and swung backwards from the force. He could hear scuffling going on inside. With a nod from his head he gave the signal for them to follow and they stepped inside ready for an ambush. From the other side of the room, he could see it was cleared out and and there was no furniture save for a table but there were a few people already there.

Kujol, and his guards were with Meredith. But Kujol had someone in his hands in a headlock. "One of yours Lazarin?" Kujol pointed with his Lakan in his hand to August's neck.

Sevris had never seen him before and did not care either. But it was ok to let Kujol think so. "This has nothing to do with him. Let him go and I will show you mercy. Siriana is already dead. You are just the final piece to this puzzle."

"You lie. I know of your past ventures with your family. She must be allowed to walk free." Kujol said gesturing to Meredith.

"No one walks free from this. You conspired against the God of Evil and threatened the very existence to his people. I cannot let anyone leave. But I will not kill her. You have my word."

"Then we must fight. Because I know what you have in store."
Kujol grabbed the scruff of August's clothes and tossed him towards Sevris and he was sent stumbling.

And Kujol went on the attack. Aiming to kill everyone who stepped into the house.

Siege on the Gated Community!

Postby Chase Hunter on June 28th, 2016, 2:33 am

Chase looked up from his landing quick enough to leap again to the right, dodging an enemy going for a straight stab while he was recovering. Being a zith hunter had its advantages, especially for reactions. As he landed from his slight leap, he swung his right fist around, shoving the spikes of his gauntlet into the back of his assailant and pushing him forward on his path into the wall that Chase had just jumped down from. He was quite happy to allow this prey to escape that direction. It was similar to throwing one of the rats of Sunberth into a wall to stun them, while also letting their blood flow from the holes he put into it. However, he expected the human to take longer to bleed out. Not that he particularly cared, as long as it stayed down.

Chase moved onward, watching as the highly colored people charged on a house. He heard a shout from the forerunner, apparently directing the other soldiers. Chase moved in to follow them, only to find that he was flanking the entire group of the colorful people. Three of them took point, and moved into a house, while the men on the sides formed a perimeter around the house, taking out the minions attempting to block their path.
Shrugging, he promptly followed them in. He figured the colorful people outside were doing enough with those ones. He looked for his own game.

As he came inside of the house, his eyes adjusted happily to the dimness inside. Perfect. He stopped short of running into the colorful trio in front of him. He listened with half an ear to their chatter. He could care less about them in general. He saw as the largest man went for the colored people. He didn’t make any plans to get involved with them. His head was turned to look at the guards around a female form. Perfect.

Chase ducked to the wall near the door and paced down it, initiating the combat. He swung his sword in a short arc, forcing the guards back, before going to pounce forward, swinging his spiked gauntlet for one of the guards jaws.

Siege on the Gated Community!

Postby August Shensly on June 28th, 2016, 8:16 pm

August stumbled heavily into the wall, winding him, he was lucky the powerful Akalak had let him go; he knew his ruse wouldn't last.

'Sevris...' he thought. August recognized the man from the description the night eyes had given him during his briefing at the safehouse. He was the Marshall of the Ebonstryfe. August got up as quickly as he could, the pain in his chest still taxing his strength that he would need. Looking at how those in the shadow of the raven wanted the gated community cleared of hostile forces, August made an executive decision.

"Sevris, Marshall of Ebonstryfe, call back your forces and be wary, they are attempting to draw your forces into the gated community for an ambush! Tell your men at once or face slaughter!" August yelled, shaking off the dizziness from being thrown across the room. He reached into his belt behind his back and pulled two daggers, and flipped them both at once before grasping each one per fist, points sideways. Kujol began to smile at such tiny things, August had the training to at least defend himself, but both of them knew he could not take him down with just two assassin's daggers, no matter the strength or training. Sevris looked tough, but both he and August could not kill Kujol alone, and they had a moment of silent mutual agreement as they shot a glance at eachother.
"Sevris I beg of you! They have planned an ambush! Call your men off! If we catch Kujol alive they'll surrender. If you kill him they'll fight to the death. We have to capture that brute alive! That is how this battle ends well for your dear Ebonstryfe."

Just then three Ebonstryfe soldiers entered the room, and upon seeing Kujol they held their weapons close. The akalak was now outnumbered, even with his guardsmen.
"Kill them!" Kujo bellowed as he ran out the far door with Meredith.
"Sevris, tell your men of the ambush and together we'll capture this brute! You don't have to trust me just do it!"

August was definitely ready for a chase. He sprinted at the guardsmen who were holding their ground, ready to kill him, and at the last minute slid leg-first under and between the two guardsmen without touching them. Standing up in motion with his slide he found himself in the midst of battle, moving fluidly inbetween the people stabbing here and there at Rising Dawn members when he could, blocking and dodging with his assassin's daggers and the gauntlets of his assassin's blades. Like a fish in water he made his way through the crowd, the clinking sounds of weapons clanging together and the occasional scream and sickening lurch of weapon breaking through bone. And amidst the confusion of battle the akalak was getting away! He could barely see the blue body turn a corner before he could make it.
'This is taking too long...'
August turned the corner,
'There he is...'
he saw the akalak at the end of the street,
'That akalak can petchin' run!'
He saw a tightly knit group of combatants and immediately jumped onto the wall, running across it for about seven steps, circumventing the battle. He hit ground and was immediately running as fast as he could, and he felt that Sevris was right behind him but he couldn't be sure.

Sevris

Somehow the Akalak brushed past the Marshall and his people and they were on the chase for Kujol and the other three Dawn heretics. Sevris had the first surprise of his life seeing a Zith join the hunt.

Apprantly apart of the Dragoon forces. Sevris rushed down the street with the rest of his forces on his heels as well. Clad in armor they were slow but the Akalak was slowed down ever more because the dead weight he had to bring along.

-----------
Kujol

Meredith was neither a fighter or a runner and she could not keep up with the rushing of the fighters and being chased by agents of Evil. But apparently Kujol saw that he could not keep her running with him. He had to hold them off. For his love. For the Rising Dawn. For Siriana. He stopped running and turned around, so did the others. Meredith screamed, "What are you doing Harrol? Run with me please!"

"You know I can't my love. I have to give us a chance. Take her far from here. I love you."
Harrol answered for Kujol this time. "You stay with me. And you try and find another way out. They must not get her."

There was a blood scurdling "no" that came from her filled with despair as the bodyguard shoved her down the street. It broke their heart.

---------

Sevris

The Marshal noticed that they were trying to split. He looked towards the Dragoon Zith. "Hey Zith. See if you can catch up to that lady. She is a prize for Ebonstryfe." Sevris asked Chase.

"Miriam go with him. I want her alive. Kill the other one. Kujol wants to do battle finally." Sevris gave his orders as they slowed down a couple of yards to a furious and raging Akalak. The street was wide enough that his Commander Miriam could make it around the Akalak without confronting him. She knew she would die just as swiftly.

"Time for a rematch Kujol." The running in medium armor had winded him a little bit but he was gaining his breath back.

Kujol said nothing to him. But he mentioned for his guard. "Kas. Blast them."

Sevris could see it with his helmet but the bodyguard Kas had been building two balls of res in his hands then he shot his hands forward and they ignited into a fireball and came screaming towards the waiting Stryfe. Sevris tried to warn his own Soldiers. "Watch out!" But they were not fast enough as two of them were both hit in the chest. They both shouted in shock then in extreme agony as their armor and chest flamed up.

Which left only Commander Darren, another Soldier, August and Sevris to fight the duo. Kas was obviously skilled in Reimancy and the longsword. Now the group was on the alert for him as well. "Darren I cannot take him alone. Watch my back." Sevris muttered to Darren and he nodded in agreement.

"Go!" Sevris ordered and they both charged forward, and the Soldier went to fight Kas who couldn't call the Res back up fast enough braced for a fight with his blade.

Sevris had his eyes on the prize. Kujol stood still with his Lakan ready. Though very skilled with it, it would prove difficult against the expert Double-Bladesman in front of him. After getting within range the two exchanged blows with one another, somehow Kujol countered Sevris's brutal attacks from high to low. But the dagger like blade was to small to really mount an attack of his own. Darren with his mace would chime in to throw him off, but Kujol was adamant and they could not break his guard.

But the Marshal was ferocious. He would break his guard.

Siege on the Gated Community!

Postby Chase Hunter on July 2nd, 2016, 5:21 am

Chase grinned, nodding at the colorful individual next to him. A directed hunt, with promise of reward, and something he was already after. A thing he could easily agree to.

Chase pumped his legs harder, taking off after his prey. The interesting thing about being a zith is the ability to hunt in forest and jungle. As a half-zith, he was able to accommodate in hunting in this human form of a jungle. Walls and buildings provided beautiful launch points, and would eventually work in a way as he became better at it to have an experience of almost flying in chase of prey. It would be a fantastic sensation for himself.
He pulled ahead of the people behind him, coming to what was soon to be a short problem. The blue man had stopped, apparently intending to fight them off as the woman escaped.

Obviously a problem, for Chase really did not have time to do both. He looked for a way around this problem. The gated community had been a center of power for the Sun’s Birth, and had been subsequently taken over as a center of power for other gangs. Either way, it stayed a busy place. As such, there were various tables and stalls still set up along the sides for those selling or gambling. Chase promptly ran toward one of the human swordsmen’s along the wall, only to step up on a barrel, across a market table, to kick off the humans shoulder before he could react, shoving him to the floor and propelling himself past the blockade, hearing the human woman sent to follow him leaping over the body of the human he’d just knocked to the ground.

Chase pulled up toward the duet of prey. They promptly curved around a corner, down a thin alley way. Chase came up to the alley way, going fast enough that he leaped up, placing a foot on the far wall and twisting over it, keeping momentum as his feet came back under him and continuing after them. He came up just behind them.

The guard turned and saw Chase on top of them. Pushing the girl to keep running, he turned and stopped, blocking the way. Chase had too much movement to just stop, having to barrel into the man. He knew the swordsman was following him, and left the man he barreled into to be dispatched at his ally’s leisure. He reacted quickly as they skidded to the floor, kicking his feet hard over his head, summersaulting over his enemy. He was not quite used to such maneuvers, and came to a dead stop, laying on the floor opposite his captor on the far side. His new ally came up as the enemy swordsman rose to his feet, and they went to battle against each other. Chase leapt to his feet and continued on after the woman, coming to a stop at the end of the alleyway. He turned his ears, attempting to slow his own body to hear any sign of the panicked woman.

Siege on the Gated Community!

Postby August Shensly on July 2nd, 2016, 6:30 pm

The akalak stopped, and with a fury in his heart and with a bravery enough to impress even August. Though he was August's enemy, he now held a certain respect for the brute for his bravery and selflessness in facing overwhelming odds so that his lover could escape. The Marshall of the Ebonstryfe was there beside him, with a few forces of his own offering protection and a buffer between Sevris, August, and the zith Chase Hunter, from the rest of the battle just down the street. They separated their fight with the mighty Kujol from the violence that was the ongoing conflict between the Vulkari, Sun's Berth, and the Ebonstryfe. August could now tell that the separated forces beyond the Marshall Sevris's men were the Vulkari absorbing the attack of the Sun's Berth and Ebonstryfe forces after the inevitable ambush assault down the cramped streets of the gated community; where the Sun's Birth and Ebonstryfe's numbers counted for nothing. It would only be a matter of time until the Vulkari and their battle with the main force would spill into their little private engagement here. August was frustrated that the Marshall had been too haughty to listen to his warning, and as a result the battle pushing down the street towards them meant that they had little time to fight the mighty akalak until they were caught up in the thick of the battle for the gated community.

The zith had just ran past Kujol to find his escaping lover. August quickly thought that if they caught her Kujol would surrender, and thus his forces would surrender as well, but the Marshall would need help defeating Kujol; he had to choose. August could sense this was a personal matter between Sevris and Kujol, and so August decided to what he could to help. He taunted the great akalak, taking advantage of his fury and rage, taking some pressure off of Sevris. August knew plainly he had neither the skill nor the weapons to even cause any damage to Kujol, but he gave it his all. He dodged an attack and slipped in back of him, Kujol replying by swinging his Laken around in back of him, narrowly missing August's throat. August bent over and put his hands on the ground, spinning into a kick that looked more like a dance than an example of unarmed combat, and the kick landed on Kujol's back legs, August thinking decisively to get him off balance, but it was as if the akalak's legs were made of tree trunks. August dodged again, Kujol following him as he ran towards a wall, then ran up it and jumped, his foot coming around and connecting hard with Kujols temple, but it didn't do anything but anger the akalak. Still in the air Kujol grabbed him and spiked him into the ground. Knocking him out cold for about five seconds. When he awoke he could see the mighty akalak walking towards him. August had hoped he had distracted him enough so that Sevris could have a fighting chance. August got up and began to run straight at the brute, and Kujol smiled as if he thought August was going to use his momentum to land a dire blow, but instead at the last minute August jumped and landed sideways, sliding under and between the legs of the akalak. After he got through he dug his heel into the street, his momentum standing him upright again.
"Your turn! Give him hell Sevris, Marshall of the Ebonstryfe!" August bellowed, saluting him informally.

August could still see the zith down the street, and August knew the second the zith made it around the corner August would have to be at that corner to see which street they were on next or he would lose his prey. August sprinted to the end of the road, just making it to the corner to see the zith go down another street. August followed and finally caught up with the zith at the expense of his stamina; he could not sprint anymore, and he would be winded if he tried to fight more than one adversary. They were running past groups of soldiers locked in the heat of battle; the commotion was exciting to August, but he dare not get involved. He was not a peon, he was here to help end this fight and to restore the gated community to it's original, lawless equlibrium, and in tandem to report back any knowledge he had learned at the safehouse after the battle during his debriefing. Clanging and clashing and screaming enveloped them in all sides. August and the zith were closing in on the woman and her three bodyguards, and August realized they would need more men to take care of the bodyguards.

He was in luck, some Ebonstryfe moving down the street after puncturing through the lines of Vulkari failing to absorb the attack showed up and noticed the woman and her bodyguards. August shouted;
"We're after that woman! Our purposes are aligned! Follow me!"
"You're not of our kind! We don't listen to you." they yelled back.
"You want the woman? I do too, you don't have to listen to me just run with us. Together we'll capture her so that Kujol will surrender and so will his forces. We need you and you need us!"
"...Alright!"
And with the group of Ebonstryfe joined August and the zith in following the woman on a wild chase through the many streets of the gated community. After a while they could tell the woman was getting tired, but then the group disappeared down a sidestreet. August, the zith, and the group of elite Ebonstryfe in hot pursuit. As they turned the corner, they saw the group of four turned around with weapons raised; they had gone down a dead-end street and were now cornered.

Siege on the Gated Community!

Postby Sevris on July 7th, 2016, 8:18 pm

Blood formed on the corner of Sevris's lips after a receiving a swift jab of the Akalaks fist into his face. Even with Darren he was proving highly difficult to subdue without killing. Kujol and snuck a few hits on him and his vital areas not covered by his armor.

Darren fared no better. Kujol with his little blade was fast, and ruthless. No armor to hold him down, he was nimble and his speed was frightening. Akalaks were warriors at birth mostly. A natural affinity to the battleground. He was bred for this.

But..so was Sevris. The Marshal put on an amazing display of flasing gold swords and the Akalak did so with a blur of his Lakan. But Kujol did not need to be held down. He needed to finish this quick to return to Meredith. He parried Sevris's large blades as aside and delivered a vicious side kick to Sevris's abdomen. The armor absored the hit but not the force from it, and he was sent stumbling backwards losing his balance.

Temporarily stunned. There was nothing Sevris could do to stop what happen next. Darren swung his Mace trying to stop Kujols advance on Sevris. It was to heavy to both Kujol and he dodged it.

Using the momentum he brought his Lakan high and brought it down into the chest of Darren. The blade penetrated near the clavicle and it was not protected by armor.

Before Kujol could take the blade back. His hands still outstretched, Sevris recovered and swung his blade upwards and managed to cut the forearm of the Akalak. He roared in pain before switching hands and pullling the Lakan dagger out. Jagged as it was, Sevris knew the blade would leave a wound no medic or Healer in Sunberth could help.

Enraged, as Darren toppled to the floor clutching his neck, Sevris pressed the attack. There was a little advantage on Sevris's side now that he had injured the Akalaks more dominant arm. He had to defeat Kujol quickly or Darren would suffer.

There was no backing down from neither fighter. Even though his arm was injured, Kujol still brought a ferocity with his left hand instead. Kujol however was unable to throw any more jabs and resorted to kicking.

Time was of the essence. He had to defeat Kujol quickly so he could get him too....Meredith! The one they called Meredith from the Rising Dawn was not a fighter but their top Healer. He could force her to heal him if only he could defeat the Akalak!

However Kujol was no foe easily triumphant. With most of the forces fighting it out towards the Gates of the Gated Community, there were no reinforcements coming to back him up soon.

Sevris struck out aiming for the Generals weak left arm which was bleeding profusely. He was quick to deflect the attacks to his right, but Sevris sensed he was finally taking advantage and pressed on him to defend with both of his gold serrated blades. The Marshal chanced a glance at Darren who wasn't fairing any better as the life looked or seemed to be slowly edging away from him.

Darren saved his life while fighitng a formidable Ansel Lazarin and two other Paladins during an ambush laid out for them. He wasn't as skilled as he was then but he took Darren under his wing and made him a Commander of the Hyperion Company.

His life had to be saved. He earned that.

Siege on the Gated Community!

Postby Sevris on July 24th, 2016, 11:36 pm

The General eyed the agent of evil as they fought to a standstill and were merely circling each other. He could hear his bodyguard fighting for his life against a relentless Soldier behind him. The Chaon was stronger since the last time they encountered each other. But it mattered not, he would not be bested.

The General, and the Marshal started to circle each other. They were beginning to wear on each other. Kujol was more worn after extering a lot more strength on defending his injured arm. If he wasn't so skilled he would already been beaten by the barrage of attacks from Sevris.

However the Chaon realized that he was beginning to tire and went on an all out attack. Sevris brought out all the tricks he could against the General. Last time he as beaten without mercy. Now he would be dishing out the damage this time. Sevris growled and ran forward, he semi-dived while positioning his blades to twirl in the air with him.

Kujol was unaccostumed to a move such as this and tried as best as he could to deflect the move. But it was a two pronged attack and when Sevris's golden blades came down, Kujol blocked the first attack with his Lakan which brought his dagger down, the second one he could not block in time. The serrated blade cut through the shoulder of his right arm.

Kujol cried out in pain as he lost control of his arm as blood splurted from his wound. The Akalak fell to his knees defeated. Sevris walked in front of the defeated Dawn General and brought his blade to his neck, forcing him to look at Sevris. "You should have listened to me the first time. Now you will know suffering, like no other." Then Sevris arched back and with his armored hands he punched Kujol straight in the temple. Knocking him out he hit the ground.

The Marshal looked over to see his Soldier stabbing the bodyguard through in his neck repeatedly in a blood rage. Miriam was returning to him with the prisoner Meredith arrested. She was bloody but well. She must've dealt with the guard swiftly. "Mission acomplished Ser Sevris."

"Meredith, you will heal my partner Darren. Or I will skin Kujol alive. Understood."
She nodded fully understanding that all was lost for them. But she would do whatever she can for Harrol and Kujol while they lived.

Darren seemed like he was on the edge. Sevris didn't want to watch him die. So he turned to see how the rest of the Dragoons fared. They routed the other groups already. It was quick and deadly raid taking the Gated Community back.

They had surrendered and the Dragoons were taking the rest as prisoners. Sevris looked to Miriam and said, "Treat our friend Kujol and make sure he recovers as well. I have need of them both, alive. I must report to the Ebonknight. I have the most wanted fugitives in our custody."

I have found that this thread does not follow your current skills. In such, your character is seen doing impossible things at the current skill levels to which are listed in your character sheet.

Gold is a malleable metal, and it would show wear in combat, and potentially break.

Furthermore, the Rising Dawn conflict was abolished quite some while a-go. Please PM me with information regarding to why they would make an appearance after so long, and why they would be in Sunberth which just so happens to be the city you have been residing in.

Once these issues are addressed and proper explanations of the plot has been proven I will allow this thread to be graded.

~A Ferrin Template, Thanks!
