Gilli’s Security Services Location: Riverfall Business type: Security Service Concept: It is hard for one to imagine that any would be of need for such a service. Indeed it practically sounds like an amusing joke made even more surprising that it exists. A resident and tourist would balk at the need for a mercenary service in Riverfall offering security of all things. The owner of the business would not deny how it all feels so redundant, but as there is a market for everything in life so too is there a market in Riverfall. For as much a paradise Riverfall appears to be, there are those who maintain a sense of paranoia and feel the need for a sense of security. Whether it is at a threat real or imaginary it does not matter but what matters is that the GSS provides the security requested.The question comes is who are these paranoid individuals that would require such a service in the first place? The answer is many; Uncontracted Nakivak who do not yet trust the Akalaks who swear to protect them, visiting merchants who are just THAT paranoid about their wares being stolen, or the odd tourist that’s either bigoted enough to hold sever distrust against the warrior culture or are just irresponsible enough that they need a glorified babysitter to escort them. Gilli’s Security Services aim to provide security to these people from their conceived fears as well as perhaps protect Riverfall from them. After all, anyone nutty enough to hire a mercenary in Riverfall probably needs watching over regardless. Services If the name tipped no one off, then what they need to know is that Gilli's services are that of acting as protection for clientele. A wall from threats that would deign harm against a world that might deign to harm them up to and including sacrificing his life if need be. Gilli aim's to provide quality for his services, and sacrifice is nothing short of that. Bodyguard Services: This classic service is as much as implied. For an agreed upon duration the recipient of this service will acquire the use of a bodyguard to protect them throughout. The bodyguard will stick to their charge anywhere they may go as required and intercept threats as necessary as well as apply force when no other option is given - 3 gm/day on individual protection, 5 gm/day on group protection. Security Services: Not to be confused with bodyguard services, security services expands upon the protection of an owned establishment and therefore possessions and individuals therein and does not extend to protection outside. Essentially a guard service but on a temporary duration rather than a permanent one – 5 gm/day. Escort Services: Not to be confused with the other type of escort service, the definition here refers to acting as a travelling detail from point A to B. Similar to bodyguard services but with a set-destination rather than a set-duration – 2 GM per use of service. Note: Services purchased are consolidated upon by contract signed upon by both parties and are to be paid upon completion with each party involved holding a copy for documentation and proof of service. Early termination of contract by customer requires payment of fee for services rendered up till termination of contract. If contract breached, terminated or conditions met with failure by provider then payment due is null and void. In case of dispute regarding the contract, issue will be brought forward to the Council of Ten for resolution. Base Income: Mercenary Advanced Missions 5 gm/day as base modifier (Weapon: Battleaxe = Competent and Weapon: Composite Longbow = Competent) Skill Bonus: Competent Weapon: Battleaxe = 5 gm x 1.5 = 7.5 round down = 7 gm/day Sale's Bonus 1 gm Total Income: 8 gm/day, 720 gm/season (90 day season) Assets: Simple Office (200 GM, 200 sq.ft.) 20 x vial of inks (20 x 1 GM = 20 GM) 200 sheets of paper ( 4 SM x 200 = 40 GM) Debt: 290 GM to be paid to the Council of Ten.
