Kira sighed. She had made it through the gates without trouble and was on her way to find somewhere to stay. Where could she find a job? A house she might live in? Was her future here? Or should she have stayed in the forest?
Stop it! she told herself, shaking her head. If you had stayed in the forest you would have ran out of food within a week! Count your bellings that you made it through the gates. Now, go find somewhere that looks like a shop of somekind. They're the most likely to help.
Kira was surprised to see so many men, with blue skin! Those must be Akalak, like what Mother told me!
