Hey! Oh wait, I don't know you... (Erekez)

Vanna smiled warmly at the man as he spoke of violence. It seemed as if he was more of a character she would like to be around. Her fingers moved over the apple, turning it around a bit and then taking another bite.
Why were people so amazed by violence, she never knew really.. Art was much more beautiful... and by what she could hear from him, science and books were just as beautiful as that.

"I hate violence... I don't understand it.. which is why I stay away from people most of the time.... or just scare them enough to think that I am actually crazy", giggling she shrugged at her theory. It didn't seem that strange to her, but then again, most people found it quite.... ridiculous?

To her amazement, he could understand what singing was all about. And hearing him speak of it, seemed as if, back in his day, he actually knew how to do it.
Her lips, as soon as he asked the question, parted and she started singing. She doubted he could understand a word she was saying, but in music, that didn't really matter.

For a few minutes, she was just singing, quietly, but happily. It was obvious she enjoyed in it. Her voice was soft and yet quite high-pitched. When the end came to her song, she giggled, adding quietly
"I don't... but people usually don't appreciate singing around here as much as they should, so I don't bother.."

Hey! Oh wait, I don't know you... (Erekez)

"If it's a method that works for you, whilst not at the expense of others, you're entitled to do as you want. Although, I wouldn't suggest actively searching to be alone." Her reasons for doing so weren't far off his own, but from the way Vanna had reacted to a stranger with a bow staring at her, Erekez guessed that she didn't believe that everyone was out to get her. "Besides, there is nothing wrong with being a little crazy." Erekez smiled at her.

When Vanna started singing almost immediately after his question, Erekez was momentarily shocked. His shock quickly subsided and was replaced with a serene feeling. Vanna's voice was quiet and gentle, carrying each note into the next in a smooth and steady flow. The words were unknown to him, but he didn't care. Music was universal. Besides, Erekez had a feeling he'd only be humming it later. There was no way he'd remember all the words, even if it was in common.

When her song ended, Erekez heard her usual giggle, and her quietened answer to his original question. He was glad that his initial assumption of her was wrong, glad to know that she was more than proud of her own singing to just start when asked. Not even worrying about the choice of song, and why would she? It was beautiful.

"When you are as good at something like you are with singing, and you enjoy it, you shouldn't worry about what other people think. It's their own fault that they are choosing to miss out on something as wonderful as that." Erekez inclined his head towards her. "Thank you for the performance, I enjoyed listening to it as much as you seemed to enjoy singing it."

He could feel the smile pulling at his face, but this wasn't a polite smile, it was genuine. Vanna was one of the few who had been able to make him smile without thinking about it. She enjoyed what she did and who she was. She didn't seem to have any worries about anything. Erekez looked forward to a time when he could do so again, even if it was only briefly.
