OOCYou might want to put a timestamp at the topSsynareis snorted at the rather motley bunch assembled in the Scorched Skull this day. This den of ill repute was not a place that the constrictor frequented, for rather obvious reasons. Not only was it rather ugly to look upon, a surprise considering the Eypharian obsession with beauty, but the patrons were all of... questionable repute. It was rare to find an Eypharian or Dhani here, mostly it was the lesser races that scurried about here, further dirtying the place up.
The Constrictor was dressed in her usual clothing of a sleeveless robe, a sheath underneath that and leather sandals. Her dark hair was unbound for the night, framing her exotic features. Her narrow dark green eyes scanned over the establishment, searching for a place to sit down. She was, of course, armed with her two scimitars, Fang and Venom. One did not descend into the lower part of Ahnatep society without being properly armed.
The serpent quickly crossed the tavern floor, glaring at any who stood between her and a small empty table off to the side. Ssynareis sat down, leaned back slightly and started tonight's activity with a cross of her arms. If she were to hope to join the Jackals she needed to hone her none combative skills, namely information gathering.
Her eyes and ears were open, however this was proving to be much more difficult than was first anticipated. As soon as she managed to focus on one thing, a distraction popped up out of no where. She couldn't even get bits and pieces of info, no matter how meaningless. She was not looking for anything important, that was why this was an exercise.
Her vision was always blocked by this stupid drunk or that one, which was so infuriating that Ssynareis wanted to toss the fools across the room.
The tall woman took a deep breath.
Remain calm Ssynareis, this requires patience, She told herself in an attempt to calm her nerves.
As she attempted the information gathering experiment again she noticed something out of the corner of her eye, someone was watching her. The serpent focused all of her attention to that area, not looking straight at the person, but more of an awkward sideways glance.
The person was definitely female and rather short from what she could make out. One thing was for certain, the look she was giving her was certainly not friendly.
