If it wasn't already clear, the Vantha are basically pardoned by Ionu and therefore Alvadas this season, so you wouldn't be in any danger. This would be common knowledge, as it happens during the Festival of Illusion- a big, public event.

Hi guys! My guy Draas here is new to Alvadas, and I'm new to Mizahar. I'm still, uh, trying to figure out his avatar and get a pretty posting template and all that goodness.

I'm having trouble figuring out where I should throw him first (aside from posting to the Gaping Maw, which I still have to do)... So do you guys have any advice? Or know what would be a good way to start?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place to ask, I'm still figuring out how to navigate everything. :')

To begin- welcome Draas to Mizahar (Alvadas especially!)

You're in the right place.

Well... for entering the city yes you'll need to post in the Gaping Maw if you have not done so already. For your question about introducing your character, you could start with a solo thread, or someone here in Alvadas would want to thread with you. If you'd like I can help you start with your first thread and we could work our way up from there? If you see anything that spots your eyes within the CODEX perhaps find a place where your character might end up within the City of Illusion?

Well... I'd also recommend throwing in a post to enlist Draas for employment- you can do that through Kaleidoscopes OFFICE also you can find the jobs through the price LIST to see what you think might be good for Draas to work as. Let me know if you have any more questions, myself and other Alvads would be able to answer any of them (we'll do our best), otherwise Kal might be able to know what's down.

^I second everything she said. And I also want to say that you can go 'shopping' for potential thread partners in the Character Registry. Maybe see if there's anyone who peaks your interest and message then to start some plots.

Or you can post an 'open' thread in the forum that would let anyone join in your story. Then you can sit back and see who pops in.

Hi all,

I have made a few changes to my office, which I would like you all to read. Office.
First of all, I am going to tackle the job requests that are in my inbox already, and any other issues that I can dig up.
Secondly, any that wish to live at a seasonal living expense below Common, I need you to apply for each season of this in my office. To live at poor and squalor conditions I need to see this in writing, I need to see struggles and hunger and illness. Too long at either of these two would also lead to long-lasting illness and maybe even eventually death. This new form (yes forms are boring, soz) will make sure that I can enforce this better.
