Appearance: He has black, short, straight hair, bright blue eyes, stands at 5 feet 11 inches, weighs 160 pounds, medium build, his skin color is a nice tanned color. He has many scars across his entire body, but the most prominent scars are: a large slash that stretches across his frontal torso (from top left to bottom right), and scars across his arms which occurred during Issie’s father trying to protect Issie from a group of Zith hunters. Issie wears a grey long-sleeved shirt to cover up his arms, with gloves to cover up the missing areas, he wears a black cloak and a black scarf to cover up his face when need be, then he wears black worn pants, with worn black boots. However, he need to adjust to the Syka weather, so he started to wear a short-sleeved shirt, light pants, and thin shoes/sandles. With this outfit his arms are exposed to showing his scars of extreme burns, skin malformation, and black finger nails, Issie tries to keep his arms hidden as much as possible, yet can't always succeed.

Character Concept

Personality - A cold stoic person, he has adapted to not show feelings, he has never found a need for them, and anytime they would be acceptable, he has no one to show emotions to. He, however, still have feelings, he just hasn’t had anyone to use emotions with as everyone stayed to themselves or were too formal for emotions to be had.

Ethics - Issie lives by a personal set of morals that do not fit his demeanor, he will always protect the weak and is too willing to give his last to those who ask or need it. This seems highly contradicting, yet, he has this set of morals because he has been given neither the help when he needed it nor the assistance that could have assisted him in his worst times.

Likes - Issie likes to be with his horse, as it has helped him get as far as he did as well as he has slowly began to grow a relationship with his horse. Issie has a fondness of learning and has always been a curious person, this has been strengthened by his times he’s away from civilization. He has grown a strange curiosity for the unknown even, when it nearly killed him he still wishes to know more the magic his father gave him. He also has a fondness for nature as it has shown him the unknown in ways he could have never thought of.

Dislikes - Issie loathes those who are unwilling to try and understand something. There is so much wonder in the world and so much to explore, that those who are don’t experience it more, and the say their way is right is someone Issie can neither deal with nor stand, as understanding is the key to life. Issie, has an absolute hatred for those who use people, mistreat people, and even ignore the cries of those who are in need. Not everyone can go to a home when they get cold, they might not even have an idea of when they will eat again, assistance in some way is the right thing to do, in Issie’s eyes.

Character History

Pre-Creation - Being born in Taldera, Avanthal, Issie has experienced the freezing temperatures of the mountain, the vastness of the forest, and almost every danger the wilderness has to offer. His racial ethnicity has always been in question in the city as he was, like his father, not a Vantha. This has came from his father's genes and this has been of some complications as everyone expected them to be like the Vantha yet were non-Vantha humans who did not hold the traits. When Issie was a child, he was taught how to survive in the most pitiful of positions, he was never as good as his father, yet he definitely tried. As he got older he improved on his skills becoming more skilled in survival and began not needing to go back to civilization for a week at a time. Over time, as Issie grew up he learned of different family secrets, some had very simple meaning behind them, like, fathers secret knot technique to make a trap. While others were very significant: Issie’s grandfather was a wandering knight of old, who used to travel the land in hopes to bring some form of order to the world, and the sword Issie is to inherit in the future, or how his mother was like an angel as she came to him, and gave birth to Issie. Once Issie turned 18, learned the most life changing thing from his father: how to use reimancy. The experience was an intense one as Issie felt his body intensely try to absorb and reject the Res. This gave birth to the power that has gotten his mother killed, and also the power that killed his father as when his father and Issie were attacked by a few Zith that tried to take them. His father over exerted himself to save Issie, in killing the Zith, Issie’s father killed himself in the process, and nearly killed Issie with him. With no family he knows, Issie has his father’s lessons and his skills to strike it out on his own. Issie began to travel to warmer climates to not only see the world, but also to find a purpose. His purpose is to survive, but that is not living.

Heirloom: A steel longsword that has been Issie’s grandfather’s. The blade is made of cold steel, which allowed it to last for so long and last through so much. In his grandfather’s life, his days were filled with glory and adventure, and he hope on his journey his grandfather’s sword will give him a piece of strength that he had.


Issie has no set house, he lives on the go and has his own portable shelter.
