Derk is the Jamoura that organized The Spires' half of the Trade Agreement. He brought together the businesses that would provide the goods to Wind Reach, spent countless hours haggling with the Endals, and even made a trip to sign the agreement with the Valintar. He gathered the supplies and the manpower to have the Trading Post built, and now manages the inventory, as well as agreements with the local businesses. He does all of the hiring and employee management, and maintains all of the paperwork.

Derk is an analytical individual, and not very personable. He deals with numbers and trade on a daily basis, and calculates every risk as such. When he hires an employee, he determines the risk of loss versus the increase or maintenance of profits. He never gets upset or angry, but he also never seems overly pleased or impressed. He has high expectations for everyone, and will ensure that they meet them.
