From Mizahar Lore
Pavena is the ancient scientific research stronghold of Myrna Kelvic and her team who dedicated their lives to exploring other worlds via the Worldgate and bringing the knowledge back to Mizahar to enrich humanity. It faded from notoriety well before the Valterrian and most of its work was kept secret from the vast majority of the Suvan Empire. The Valterrian completely obscured its existence. However, the main parts of the research stronghold are still in existence, buried in rubble and overgrown by the Jungles of Falyndar. The modern-day habitation of Syka is slowly being built up on its foundations. It is simply a matter of time before the denizens of the settlement begin to discover that Pavena and its Worldgate exist.
