Ring of The Deliberate Liar

The Ring of the Deliberate Liar is a magically-imbued ring cast in silver that, to the naked eye, appears quite simple. When slipped onto the owner's finger, this ring will noticeably warm when someone the wearer is talking to is speaking a deliberate lie. The worse the lie the hotter the ring will burn. The heat of the ring will do no actual damage but it will cause real pain. If the person speaking the lie believes it as truth, the ring will not react.
