Hello all. You know when you start something up with someone, but they don't follow through with their end? Or when you want to do something, and begin collaborating and then they suddenly disappear? Well that seems to be happening to me quite a bit lately.
A good friend of mine and I were going to write a book, but her personal life got busy and she was unable to come through. The problem I have with it though, was that she knew it was going to get busy before she agreed. I just wish she would have thought it through before agreeing to anything. Even my brother did this to me recently.(however, that one is long and complicated and I'd like to keep that secret for now.) And then, there are those who are late responding to threads. I know I'm stepping on some toes right now, but I'm not trying to villainize anyone. I just wish to communicate my frustration. When you join a thread, but don't respond at least once a day, it bothers me. I realize that's completely insane and people have real lives and issues come up. However, that's why I don't make a big deal out of it. I mean, seriously, that's just a personal issue that I need to deal with.
However, that's not what I'm really complaining about. It's when they don't respond for a week. Now, again, I realize life happens. However, it would be nice if they sent you a PM explaining that they wouldn't be posting for a while. I apologize if I'm being insensitive, I just wanted to blog something, and this was what came to the forefront of my mind.
Secreted away in a shadowed Planet, it finds itself reawakening, As it’s painted in vibrant shades By ever solemn souls And laid bare, By her ever solemn hands. As unfathomably earthed beneath iron glass As it is, an abject memory offered to her, Accompanied with crimson pulsations; throbbing For an audience with the contemplations of Its conception.
Now, she breathes life back into these dying stars So threads of emotion thrum behind them, Like so many chords in a sickly cantata Reverberating through its catatonic Wires.
Her eyes that entreat nothing of life; Requiring nothing of me, the mute. But still glittering silver, reflecting My inquiries about when Eternity Will eventually end, how we will Break like obsidian shatters when struck, And be buried together in a world Of silhouetted sleep.
We wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy new year.
Yep. Welcome to 2010. I just walked around the Macau tower, and boy are my legs tired. But seriously, I'm happy I managed to walk the whole way around, some 200 meters up in the air. Will post photos later.
So, about me. Name: Classified Age: 13 Race: Chinese (Half Chinese, half Indonesian) Nationality: British Overseas (Was born in HK while it was under British rule) Likes: Sweets, Lemon Sorbet, Reading, Cheese, Mizahar, and Roleplaying in general Dislikes: Marry sues, Bad Roleplaying, and idiots.
Hello all, I usually don't do blog's, or really inform people of my plans, or information. But, I decided I will for this site, mostly because I have fallen in love with Mizahar.
The lore, and plots, the character generation and creation is all intoxicating, and this is actually my second time to play on a site such as this. I actually created Arinia some time ago, before I even made her on this site for a book I am writing, but once I found Mizahar I felt she was perfect for this world.
I created my character last semester, but I never got to do more than start working on a flashback, it was my fist year of college and it grabbed me a lot harder than I expected.
I am studying Engineering Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida, and it was extremely difficult so I lost connection to both my character here any my book.
I have decided to continue both and stay on them longer with the new year, hence why I have made and added to the blog on the forum, I don't really expect to be role-playing with a lot of people soon, hell I really don't even know if anyone will look on my blog. But, here i will keep what is going on in my life, and it is here I will explain if I must go for something or can be expected to be very slow.
If such becomes the case I apologize now in advance, but I will do it again as it happens.
Thank you for anyone who is reading and if anyone, anyone at all has any advise for a newby please feel free to encourage.
Okay guys, so I am getting ready for college classes, and I was reading other peoples blogs and it made me realize, this is in fact a writing forum. And, that is why i am here. The thing is, not everything i have written involves Mizahar of course, but even currently very few things involve Arinia. So I though i will include one of my favorite pieces i have ever written and see what you guys think.
It has nothing to do with mizahar. In fact, the piece clashes with Mizaharian theme internally, but ohwell. Feek free to thrash away Also please understand, this is different from my RP posts, this took months to complete just wish shear amounts of edits, and even my own beta with this one. This is the opening to a book I am currently developing.
An Awakening :
Slowly, warily, attentively he scouted the area. Turning his head, he scanned the horizon for pursuers or enemies. Not that it was likely; he had a nature inclination to subtlety. After finding no threat, he looked for friends and allies. Turing his whole body he examined the tall brush of unkempt, dying grass, the lonely trees. He felt the itch of the cold, half-dead leaves brushing his neck. Repressing a shiver, he smells the air, the odor of his comrades' close by, the repulsing odor or human activities, and the faint whiff of his prey. Suddenly his ears pricked slightly. He glanced towards the sound of footsteps. Light, but there. She was here. He turned to the area the sound emitted from, facing the direction he knew she would emerge from. Luckily the wind was blowing the sound to him. Had it not, she would have been easily missed and he wouldn't know she was upon him. As she stepped warily from the darkness, he looked at the watch on his wrist. 1:01 am. She was late. He sighed, knowing it was wrong to berate her, nonetheless, she was late. She appeared where he knew she would....
