Down by the River by Mok on October 23rd, 2011, 5:04 pm
I am sitting here listening to "Down by the River" by Neil Young...drowning my sorrows in beautiful blues. A few minutes into this song, I decided to write my first blog entry. There is no topic or order to this blog post. I am just writing what is on my mind as we go.....
Shit rolls down hill.
The leader is the one who takes responsibility for everything. He/she is the one that is in charge of making sure that the group is performing and qualifying. Those who take the leadership position know this. They choose to lead because they think they can make something out of nothing. I hope you all understand this. If anything fails to produce, it is the responsibility of the leader. Don't get me wrong though, the opposite is true as well. If the group is successful, the leader gets all the praise. The failure may not be leaders fault personally, but it is still his responsibility. What pisses me off the most is when incompetent leaders try to blame other for their problems. When a group is not performing, it is a direct reflection of the leader. Take responsibility no matter what. A good leader will take step back and change something that fails.
Whew...glad thats off my chest. Now I can relax a little.
Now I need to step up the intensity of the music. Time for Jimi Hendrix. Listening to the album "Blues"
My whole life has been full of fighting. As a child, my father would encourage me to fight. He taught me what to do to bullies at school. I was always one of the taller kids in the classroom and my dad made me take advantage. "Push them into the locker, son, and punch them until they are knocked out! Don't stop until they are dead." These were the words that my father and brother would say to me and I would take them to heart.
Ugh! I don't feel like talking about this anymore.

So I just wanted to get it out there, that I have posted in the writers workshop. Writing 101: A Closer Look. I hope that it helps a lot of the new people out, even the older people as well. Even people attempting to write a book. I am not a skilled writer myself, never claimed to be. But really.. Is anyone the perfect writer? I personally think not. The saying "practice makes perfect" is almost fully true, minus the perfect part. Practice makes us better at what ever skill we are practicing at, there is always room for improvement though, we will never be perfect. Anyways, just wanted to get that out, as well as provide a link to the thread, to anyone reading this.. If anyone is reading this o.O. Oh well. I still feel better that I attempted to help others, whether or not they read it and take the help is up to them. Writing 101: A Closer Look

A Weird Night ... by Alstroemeria on October 2nd, 2011, 11:37 pm
So here I am with my mother after church where she is talking to an old time friend. And here is his son. So during the reading she whispers in my ear, "That boy reading is so cute. A man you should be dating." To find out that this is her friend's son. Total make out! Haha! On the other it was rather weird for myself because it's a bunch of older people talking about a bunch of things. That I don't know about of course. Although, off of that because no one really cares. Kidding! Of course you care because you love me . JOKING! Lol. Anyways, on the other hand there was this guy who had a baby. And all the baby kept saying was that he wanted banana's and bread and cheese. It was so adorable! Everywhere I went I saw the cutest of babies, I can't wait to see more and munch all over them. Not literally... But in a lovey-dovey type of way. LOL. |
