I’m back from a very short noticed trip. More fishy pictures below with some descriptions of my underwater adventures. I tried in vain to get on Mizahar while I was on the boat but only managed to get a couple of words in on chat before signal crash.

Even though I've been stung only a a short while ago, I simply had to jump in when I got the oppertunity to swim with some Moon Jellyfish and Sea Nettle. Thankfully these Jellies were in a supervised tank with an artifical current, so they were esay to keep track of which greatly decresed the chance of getting stung again.

This fish fallowed us around for three hours!!!

Swimming with the sharks! Unfortunatly it's not very safe to take pictures of them if your not in a safe cage, and since we were free diving I didn't risk very many picts. This was one of the good ones.

If any of you have seen my post in the "who are you" thread you know that I get up close and personal with some deadly creatures of the deep. Never in my life have I had the urge to venture near a jellyfish. Yet three days ago I came face to face with two common jellyfish around Hawii. The first was the beautiful Portuguese man of war, the other a Box jellyfish.

Can you guess what happened when I ran into the Box Jellyfish? I was stung while taking a picture of a small reef shark, which wasn't surprising, as box jellyfish are transparant. Yes the little devil snuck up on me and latched itself to my right arm.

Now, not all Box Jellyfish are lethal, but of course I didn't know that. Thinking I had minutes to live I struggled to shore and had help emediatly. I was given the usual treatment of vinegar but imagine the surprise of the lifegaurd when the jellyfish was still attached to my arm when the medics came. The jellyfish died on the way to the hospital and the medics removed it, lucky for me they also identified it as a lesser venomous jellyfish. The worse I was going to experiance was some severe pain and possible vomiting.

I got away with night full of pain and swollen fingers. And now three days later I'm back in my snuggly house in Oregon.

So I've got an order for game portraits from Okami. Here is the first in the Brush Gods line starting with the main character, Ammy, the godess of the sun. What I love about this order is the beauty of the game itself. Okami features traditional japanese art all throughout the game, including the characters, locations, monsters, and even fish. I've played the game and can compare it to Zelda in the sense that it's not just a fighting game, there are puzzles and plenty of side quest.

Anyways here's Amaterasu! It's far from finished but I thought I share it with you anyways!

I just got a job, working as an assistant in my uncles art studio. Unfortunatly that means that I have to restrict my time on Mizahar, therefore I now have a posting schedual. You can see it my signature.

On the upside I get to show all of you the cool projects I'm working on. I'll post them here. Most will be scans of sketches but hopefully I'll be able to post the finished product every so often. Can't wait to share all the new stuff with you guys!
