(This is a thread from Mizahar's fantasy role playing forums. Why don't you register today? This message is not shown when you are logged in. Come roleplay with us, it's fun!)
The player scrapbooks forum is literally a place for writers to warm-up, brainstorm, keep little scraps of notes, or just post things to encourage themselves and each other. Each player can feel free to create their own thread - one per account - and use them accordingly.
Mizahar truly has it all. We have a wondrous Character Sheet Forum, an amazing Blog Application, Character Journals, write on walls in our profiles, and numerous other extras such as private messages, discussions, and even a recipe exchange. We even have more custom BBC code than one can even imagine! Now, we'd like to proudly announce Player Scrapbooks.
What are scrapbooks? The player scrapbooks forum is literally a place for writers to warm-up, brainstorm, keep little scraps of notes, or just post things such as quotes, images, etc to encourage themselves and each other. Each player can feel free to create their own thread - one per account - and use them accordingly. Scrapbooks can be serious or silly - customized to your own personality. Players make their own rules in their own personal scrapbook threads. Simply lay down the rules in your first post! All scrapbooks need to follow the terms of use, but otherwise feel free to utilize this Writer's Workshop subforum however you'd like.
"There's a place that I go that nobody knows where the rivers flow. And I call it home. And there's no more lies. And the darkness is light. And nobody cries. There's only butterflies."
So, can we write jibberish and call it our "scrapbooks" or character brainstorming? Or is this productive, must have some form of background writing. Also, can a scrapbook count as training records for skills?
It's anything you want it to be so long as its not IC. We have IC Character Journals in the Character Toolbox you can feel free to use for your Character Musings. All of them can be linked to your left side profile (on each post) via the Control Panel/Profile/ add in the links to the provided for fields.
