[Tarot]

The purpose of this thread is to submit technical bugs and features you'd like to see added to the website. Mizahar is built on top of a heavily modified version of phpBB, and some things are probably still rough around the edges. This is the place where you'd tell us, for example:

• if a page is giving you trouble or errors
• things you'd like to see on the front page
• better forum layout
• features that are not working properly
• new features you'd like to see implemented
• suggestions for new forum skins and color schemes

If you are submitting a bug report, please remember to tell us your operating system and browser version (ex. Windows XP, IE 7) as well as any helpful info for us to reproduce the bug.

technical bug here I think >.>

I use Windows xp, firefox and IE8 but on blog pages there are times and around the site that words are cut off by going to far off the screen and avatar images overlapping on some words. I have an bottom scroll bar but it never seems to be enough. If need be I can get screen shots of the problems for you.

Images uploaded to the gallery only seem to display as small thumbnails. Ada and I both looked at this yesterday when she brought it to my attention, and unless we are doing something wrong, we can't get a full image to display when the link is reposted in other places (Say in a CS).

Issue Resolved: Tarot says -you have to select the second code and put [IMG] tags around it, or alternately change the URL so it says "mode=large" instead of "mode=small"

Just to iterate and agree, and possibly help out for both Vor's and Tarot's sakes: I've noticed the same problem, but only when the window or resolution is too small. It's like the forums don't resize things properly dependent upon the window or res of the screen, and if you don't have one where you can get it all, you're screwed.

Thanks Vor and Alyx. Question: does this problem only occur when there's a very wide image somewhere in the thread? Subsilver2 (default factory skin for this software) does that too and it's even worse because it's a fixed width skin so you can't even resize the post.

Outside the forums, there are a few areas of the site that aren't as tested as the others, so a list of problem pages would be great! Goss told me about an avatar covering text problem with private messages, and I'll be looking into it.

Re: chat and quick account switch, it shouldn't log you out anymore (same goes for normal account switch with password and all) but it was a bit of a hack so let me know if chat behaves strangely.

So far just on the forums, but worse with images. Yet I have a lot of pages that just the text goes past the screen and it really bugs me to no end. I will get screen shots for you later today when I have time and make a list of the pages.

It's happened to me (the avatar overlapping over words) in PM view. I've got my monitor set in widescreen, so it's not the resolution. I don't have a view bar to scroll over; the words are just stuck there.

I'm using Firefox/Vista.

Also I have noticed that some of the avies are running into the text of the post. I dont know if that is a bug or not....

The avatar-in-PM problem should be fixed now.

Quick search in wiki is working again.

I got myself IE8, so all I need now is links to buggy pages!
