Haaaave you met Ted?

Unfortunately my name is not Ted. It is James on the other hand, which I find to be far more classy than Ted. Or Antares if you prefer. But if you really want to get my attention (because I'm such an important guy) call me James. I don't take myself all too seriously on the interwebs, so if I come across as a jackass because I've cracked a joke that's just a little too close to the bone, and dumb brute that I am can't figure it out on his own that I've hurt you, tell me about it and I'll drop down to my proverbial knees and beg you to take me back. I'm very easy going, and a patient lover. And I just don't think its my goal in life to piss you off.

Now for the srs bzness stuff.

I've been rp'ing online since I was 12 (26 now) with a friend of mine who I may or may not be able to coax into joining Miz soon. Around the same time, though maybe a year later, I began playing tabletop D&D with a group of guys who are still my closest friends... And sadly enough we're still on the same campaign after all this time (Aww, heartwarming). I've been a mod, an admin, and a lot of things in between for various rp sites in the past. I have no idea who is who here or if any of this will make a lick of sense, but if anyone can remember Eden, JP, Hidden Realms, CoI, Clockwork, IteoR, and... there are others, I was there at one point in time! I mostly stick to fantasy, though I am enjoying historical fiction more and more as the years pass. That's my rp life in a nutshell.

I found you guys on a warm spring day whilst traipsing-- actually the friend I mentioned earlier showed me the site and I was hooked like a cougar to a young buck. Of course, I'm the young buck in this scenario so I don't quite see how that works out... Moving on.

I've written a great many things, though I can't say I've written everything. And to be honest, there has not been something I have not enjoyed writing. I'll let the double negative settle for a second. Ready? H'okay! So I'm very versatile in what I like to write, and the mod in me will be very open to what you want to write. So lets brainstorm and barf rainbows of awesomeness together.

Right now my most favoritest thang in Miz has got to be the lore. So diverse, so in depth, so massive, I struggle to not drool over it. And you guys have got a wicked amount of talent brewing here, which just makes 6'5" me squee.

Once I establish myself a bit, I'd love to pitch in with development given the chance. I'll let my writing speak for itself, but I happen to enjoy it and I hope you all do as well. I'm just looking to have a good time, about as much as anyone could hope for. So don't hesitate to drop me a line with a character idea you'd like to have me play or a plot you'd like to have me in. I'm open open open, and I bring service with a smile.
