I could say something about the web of fate bringing us together, in which I could showcase my style and creativity, but that would be too silly. Instead, I shall merely be candid.
Mizahar is new for me. Not the whole roleplaying aspect, per se, but it is new in that it has a set world with story and depth. Most places I have seen, the person constructs a world of their own, and others act in it. Here, there is an established world, though ever-changing, for me to interact with. The character system is also different, and I like the idea.
Perhaps what drew me here, really, was the need for a creative outlet. Mizahar seems, to me, to be a conducive environment for me to utilize the creative energies that are roiling inside my brain, so to speak.
I find the world within the mind to be more enriching than the one outside of it, but there are limitations. Within the mind, unless one has a mental issue, one essentially is king. In one's imagination, their will is reality. This causes the conceived scenarios to lack something crucial: Unpredictability. Control is something we all need, but too much control makes something boring. Engaging in these mental activities with others, in an environment such as this, has the unpredictability that one's own mind cannot give. I know myself, and I can think to myself exactly how something will happen. However, this is not as stimulating as something such as this, which also requires mental agility and flexibility, as things do not always turn out as one had intended. This is why I entered Mizahar. That crucial element.
My plans for roleplaying are semi-mercurial. I have a character rather well-established in my mind, but just how I will execute him is not known. The real question, instead of 'Who to Be', is 'Where to Be' and 'With Whom to Be'. This is the question that I must answer now.
I thank you for reading this, and do hope for intriguing, stimulating roleplay.
