So I've been lurking for three or four days and I think I'm finally ready to say hello. I've posted a character sheet, and special thanks to Siiri for help with that.

My actual name is Raphael, I happen to be male, turning 21 in less then a month. From Louisiana, USA. My first character here will be Tane, a Myrian, and I'm very much looking forward to it. Time for random facts about myself!

I've been rping for about 8 or 9 years, more seriously for the last 2. I was looking for a new site and stumbled across this place, and I gotta say that I'm very impressed. I've never seen a totally original site, and I enjoy most of the skill layouts and whatnot. I like that I can build my own classes instead of being restricted to one thing like "warrior" or "mage". I also like how character progression happens here. Very interesting. Oh, if anyone can make some suggestions about Lore my character would know, that would be awesome. I'm still trying to absorb everything and sift through it all, so help with that would be appreciated.

Besides rping I'm a pretty avid console gamer (can't afford a good PC yet), and I could list what I play (Mass Effect, Skyrim, Metal Gear Solid, ect) but that would take all day.

I'm going to start my junior year at a university this fall. Majoring in criminal justice and minoring in sociology. I plan on being a detective.

My favorite color is red.

I'm available on MSN often.

Before I changed my name, I was "That Wandering Soul", so I may have talked to you in the chat thing.

I can be random or serious. I'm pretty fun to talk to, and I love random information.

I'm a pretty competent writer, but my skills are focused more on combat. I can usually keep up, although I've meet two or three people in my time who made me feel so small...

Regardless, I'm up for anything. I suppose I'll have to do a coming of age thing to get my gnosis mark. Probably as a flashback, since I'd prefer not to start off as a 16 year old.

So yeah, hello. :)

Welcome to Mizahar, Raphael! A bit belatedly, I guess. It's probably best you took time to soak up all that background knowledge before jumping into the deep end, but let me know if you have any questions or anything.

Eat some creole food for me. Nom.

I'm a cajun myself, and I can cook some stuff that would knock your socks off. If you can take the seasoning, anyway. :P

Cajun and Creole are equally welcome on my dinner plate. When I was studying in Madrid, I had a flatmate from Tibet and I would chop up vegetables while she spiced our dinner, and it was delicious and fiery spicy. I can hang. I might need a separate napkin for my nose, though. I have a craving for crawfish étouffée and I can't find it anywhere here. Bleh.

Anyway, welcome!

Mm, I might be going to a crawfish boil soon.

Question... When applying for a job/gnosis/coming of age thing at the help desk, i there any particular form I have to fill out or something? I heard it be receded to as a "ticket", but I can't find anything specific about it.

My mouth just started watering...

For employment, you can just PM the domain storyteller for wherever you want the employment. For gnosis, you can just post your request in the Help Desk. They might ask you for more information, and once it's approved, you just have to get a Domain Storyteller, Regional Storyteller, or Founder to run the gnosis thread. Unless it's to start with gnosis, and then they'll possibly make you write a little something about how Tane got gnosis. If you want Myri's gnosis for Tane, you'd want to talk to Cayenne.

Be sure to subscribe to your HD thread, though, because they won't show up in your normal threads when there's a response.
