Hi, everyone. I'm new to all this role playing stuff, at least to this scale. I was a member of a writing forum which unfortunately fizzled out) and we did some simple play-by-post stuff so this is all very daunting! I like to write and have been doing so for years, so hopefully that will help with my role playing skills. I'm still trying to work everything out, so if you have any tips that would be useful

Welcome, o player of Florence! Mizahar tends to give you what you put into it, though you will certainly lose several play partners over time. That's just the nature of the beast. Then there are people like me who have no lives and they can't get rid of... I would just advise taking your time to read as much of the wiki as you can, and meet and chat with players. Don't make any promises to anyone just yet, not until you have a good idea of what you want to do. Then dive in. And be prepared to re-read wiki pages, because I have to all the time and I've been here for the majority of the time the game's been around. ...whoa. O_o Anyway, welcome again and take care!
