I was itching for a fantasy roleplay, and this one was the first search result. It sounds extremely in-depth and awesome, but, like a lot of other newbies have said, indimidating...
I've been trying to read up on everything before I get started for the past 20 minutes or so, and I think I've got a pretty good handle on it, maybe. Everyone that I've seen seems to be very kind and welcoming, so hopefully I'll get the same warm welcome
I've been on lots of roleplays in the past, topics varying from Harry Potter to horses to Warriors to Percy Jackson. The thing is, I stay on some for a few days and some for a few months on and off, so I hope this'll be one where I have an extended stay I'm glad this is mostly a writers site since I get really sick of people roleplaying with textspeak, no punctuation, and incorrect grammar. I'm kind of a stickler for those things I don't really know what exactly to do first, since I've already read the Starting Guide and Rules, but I'm still a bit lost...?

Best thing to do with the Lore is take it slow. Pick your favorite race, magic, and city, and start off reading those in detail. The rest can come slowly, bit by bit.

If you haven't read it yet, you should check the PM that was sent to you when you registered. It has links to some important things.

And if you're ready to actually start, go ahead and make a character sheet. There are some templates at the top to help get you started if you're not sure how to make one, though they can be customized as you wish as long as the required information is there.

Also, at the top of every page is a link to Chat, so you can always stop in there for help!
