Completed New Beginnings

"It will!" Daishira said, with a burst of enthusiasm.

He noticed that his method of trying to make Kai feel more comfortable had the opposite effect, so he distanced himself for the duration of the meal. How strange, he thought, there must be something else going on in her mind.

Once all the delightful meal had met his hunger levels, Daishira asked Kai, "Hey, is it ok if I go outside and set up a tent and all that? I have a bunch of stuff that I'd like to get out and set up some form of home. Oh, and the meal was really nice. Could I possibly eat here, tomorrow?"

"Ah well I'm sure my family won't mind. But I'll ask." she smiled innocently. "Go ahead."
