Kelvic Bondmate Questions

I have a couple of questions about Kelvics that are bondmated.

Can the bondmating ever break, and if so can the bond ever reform or form with somebody else?

In terms of it breaking:
Would it break if they spent a long time or distance apart? If so how long, or how far?
If it breaks because one of them die, then that person becomes a nuit, would their bond still be there or would it be possible for it to reform if not?

Sorry they're a bit odd, but we're trying to do some plotting and it'd really help to know the answers XD

Yes bonds can break. Either Bondmates can break the bond.
Yes they can reform. Nuits die. So no bond to the dead. Kelvics cant become nuits.
Distance wont break a bond. Death will.

Okay thanks So does that mean a Kelvic can bond to multiple people over the course of its life, just not all at once?
