Newbie in town

1. Name - Rune (it's just easy to remember)

2. What sort of RP experience do you have if any?: I have had a few years of experience in a play by post role play site, but it's also been a few years since I've last been on one. Which means I'm a bit rusty, but once I get the hang of it again, I shouldn't be a bad poster.

3. How did you find us?: Random on google

4. What sort of RP style is your favorite?: I rp in first person, because I find it easier to figure out what my charries will do if I see through their eyes.

5. What do you like to write about : My favorite things to write about would be hunting scenes, or anything else with suspense. I don't like to write long conversations that don't have characters doing anything.

6. Whats your favorite thing about Mizahar so far?: So far, I like how in this story line, the gods and goddesses seem to be real people, and not some deity in the sky that noone has seen.

7. What, if anything, has frustrated you about Mizahar so far?: I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the layout of the place and where to find the information that I need, but it's only a minor irritation.

8. What would you like out of the mizahar experience?: I think I just missed being involved in a bunch of cool stories, so all in all, I'm here just to have a good time.

9. Is there anything you'd like to see expanded?: Not as of yet.

Hello there Rune, good to see a new member. You'll fit right in here and I'm sure you'll love it! The community here is really friendly and the RP here is fantastic.

As for question 7, about what has frustrated you about Mizahar so far, there is a wiki with an endless source of knowledge. Probably the most important page on the wiki for a new player would be the Starting Guide.

Thanks, I'll let you know when I have a thread open. I did find the Starting guide, but I had a bit of trouble understanding it. Course, after a few hours of staring at it, it finally started to click into place. Still a few things I can't find, but I'm sure I'll find it.

You can ask for help here or in chat. I should warn you though... we do write in third person in Mizahar. There's a lot of reasons for this... (I think I posted all of them up in a thread somewhere at one time or another when I was on a rant) - but mainly this is due to the sophistication and the tools third person offers that first person doesn't.

I've always done it in first person, but I'll try to stay in third. I may forget a few times, though, because it's never been required, but if I do, I will fix posts when I notice the mistake.
