Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

The First Step of a Great Journey

Dasreide let out a sigh as Duce, the youngest and perhaps weakest of the two, took initiative, much like a fledgling pigeon trying to fly the coup before its wings were even fully developed. The sign of piece was dropped and the bastard sword was hefted into the other hand and then gripped by both as he set his gaze upon the fledging Akalak. He smirked as a blue aura appeared around his legs as he focused flux magics into the general area.

Then he took off, his muscles lurching him forward with inhuman speed as he charged at the two, aiming to take the weakest one out first. He said nothing as he brought the fiery-colored hilt of his black-bladed weapon to bear against Duce's face, knowing that there was no way he could block it. It was a submissive strike aimed to force Duce out of the fight so he could focus on the much larger threat. After Duce was dealt with and more than likely tossed back a few feet and into the trunk of a tree nearby, Dasreide turned his gaze to Kha'liah as the blue aura of his Djed wore off as the elder Akalak released the flux magics. He smirked slightly as his golden irises locked onto the buckler. "Offense is more effective against a defensive opponent who lacks a defense, Dasreide." He recalled his master's teachings as he hefted the blade off to the side and into his right hand before bringing it in an upwards slashing motion, aiming for the buckler situated on Kha'liah's arm. "Rid your opponent of his defense and then unleash an onslaught that forces your opponent back. That is the key to victory." He smirked widely, knowing that the force of the blow would knock the shield away for a mere moment. That is when he took his chance and aimed his elbow at Kha'liah's face, the fluid motion and power of the blade's strike backing up the elbow's might and making it more effective.
A Note On My Character: Dasreide is departing Riverfall effective immediately and is heading to Syliras via sea. His boat has already left the docks and has begun to make its way upstream to the capitol but will not arrive for at least a season, if not more. Until mid-summer, Dasreide will be inactive and unable to thread with anyone until his boat makes port in the city.

The First Step of a Great Journey

He hit the tree hard. "Stupid move" He told himself knowing that this might have been the outcome. Picking himself up off the ground, he looked at the other two Akalak fighting. He picked up his two Lakan. He may be young but the fights he had in the arena taught him how to take a hit. He knew that he couldn't take them both on at the same time, and looked for another approach as he smiled when he heard the whine of his horse.
"Your going to help me out" he told the black horse as he made his way over to the majestic creature. Looking to make sure that the other fighters were still occupied with each other he prayed that this plan would work. Slapping the horses rear hard, the animal gave out a whine and took off running toward the others. Duce ran behind the animal trying to keep up with its speed. The animal cut through the two. Das being the more experienced backed up out the way with his gaurd up prepared for Khal's next strike. My enemy's enemy is my ally" Duce said to himself with a smirk nervousness as he got closer to the two.

Once again he aimed for Khal like last time but had a different plan. Jumping over the attack that was interupted by the mighty steed, he launched himself off the bigger Akalaks sizable arm and through the dust cloud that the running horse kicked up between the two and struck the blade of the light blue warrior. Moving behind him trying to avoid a strike he gained a safe distance hoping that he showed his point to the violet colored Akalak.
