Warren Wake
Appearance
Race: Svefra
Gender: Male
Age: Twenty Three
Birthday: 1st day of, Summer, 495AV
Birthplace: Aboard a Palivar on the Suvan Sea
Appearance:
Warren stands at around six feet, he isn't heavy set but by no means light. His figure is athletic in nature, from many years of swimming, fishing and ship handling. His skin is a soft brown from a life in the sun. With dirty, greasy blonde hair and eye's as blue as the ocean, like any other Svefra.
Character Concept
Warren is a young headstrong and foolhardy Svefra'n. With a strong thirst for adventure. Sailing on his own he wishes to see as much of Mizahar as he can in his time, both on the Suvan Sea, solid land and out on the open ocean, with his first goal to earn enough coin to buy a larger sea faring ship, or perhaps to stumble across one.
Character History
Warren was the youngest of four siblings before him, however he grew to become the largest, the loudest and most adventurous of them all. Warren's pod lived a rather solitary and peaceful life as far as Svefra'n lives go. They spent most of their time circling the shallow waters of the inner Suvan Sea, mostly around the maritime border of Sylira.
The pod of seven lived aboard a Palivar, designed for six it became a cramped living situation after the birth of Warren, though it was of no worry as the pod also owned and sailed with a Casinor. Warren's pod spent most of their days catching fish and trapping crustaceans. They would normally do this in small groups of two or three, normally Warren's father and one of his elder brothers using the Casinor, whilst the remaining pod members remained on the Palivar, preparing previous catches for trade of food.
This simple routine and way of living, although lacking in adventure, never fell short of things to do. And so it would be this way for the majority of Warren's young life. It wasn't until Warren's later adolescence that his life took a turn in a different direction. During the winter of 514 AV a fierce storm swept over the inner Suvan Sea. Warren and his father were out deep water fishing off the coast of Sylira when the storm struck the pair it was the wind that caught them first.
The sail of their Casinor soon got caught by the gale force winds and dragged them further into the Suvan Sea and into the storm. By the time they managed to drop the sail they had found themselves stuck in the thick of it. Huge waves turned the Casinor left and right, tumbling it back and forth. During the chaos and the noise of the storm Warren hadn't noticed that at some point his father had been thrown from the deck and into the swell.
By the time Warren did notice, it would have been too late. Despite this he remained on the deck and endured the harsh winds and the light sting of the ocean spray, searching. However he was soon forced to take refuge within the single man cabin of the Casinor and hold out. It felt like hours until the storm had finally passed, perhaps it was, as he somehow managed to get some shut eye during the rocking back and forth.
Warren took to the deck of the Casinor. Thankfully it was still sea worthy. A few patches in the sail to sew and Warren was on his way to where his family were anchored with their Palivar. If the weight in his heart was capable of weighing the ship down Warren was sure he'd sink to the bottom of the Suvan, perhaps to join his father.
When Warren returned to the general area of where he and his father had left their pod, he saw nothing and no sign of a ship, or any ship for that matter. He searched for days all across the inner Suvan to no avail. Four or so years onward Warren still found no trace of his pod. Of course he had crossed paths with many of his kind in the years since the storm however none who he enquired ever had any worth while answers. It was safe to assume he was the only one left.
