"Nice to meet you, Ayren." Oleana smiled at the teacher.
She looked back at the Endal who was still on the ground. So it was something that she had eaten that put her in this state? Oleana wondered what it could have been that she ate. She hoped it wasn't something she had brought back from a hunt... that would have been embarrassing.
The Endal was now looking at Oleana, her blue eyes fierce like a blue flame.
Oleana's light giggle faded out. She saw the irritated look on the Endal's face and immediately realized her disrespect. She didn't mean to insult her. The Endal introduced herself as Shayth, rider of Turiska the Wind Eagle.
The Endal, Shayth, was now standing but she looked worse than before. Oleana's concerns returned. She was wondering if she should really be riding in her condition while sick.

"Shayth, rider of Turiska, I meant no disrespect. I laugh out of nervousness and the... rarity of such a sight. I suggest you sit down though, is there anything I can do to help? Should I find you some water?" Oleana asked.

She reached for her water bottle at her side, just in case. Oleana didn't have much knowledge of forest plants, but a bit of water should help, especially if she sat down and relaxed.
Oleana's mind wandered back to a time when she was sick from eating bad berries in the forest. She was with her father, practicing her hunting, before he had left... He'd done the same thing for her and before long she was feeling well enough to get home.
Endal were stronger than her, and this was years ago when it happened to her. With some fresh water in her system and a minute to breath sitting up she'd be able to fly home and rest.
Oleana held out the water bottle to Shayth.
"Please, miss Endal... Shayth, have some water and just breath. You'll start to feel better in a matter of minutes. Your stomach will calm down and you'll be able to fly home. We just need to water down whatever it is in your stomach that's making you sick." She smiled.

Ayren nodded in response to Oleana's greeting. He was about to say more, when the Endal on the ground decided that she wanted to stand up. Needless to say, in her sick condition, that wasn't going to go very well. Ayren worried for her as blood rushed to her face, and he could practically see dizziness around her. He fully expected her to just fall back over once she was upright. Luckily, she didn't and seemed to get her balance quickly. She introduced herself in an indignant tone, that clearly spelled out annoyance that the hunter's joking attitude. The effect was ruined thought, when she trailed off again and had to spend half a chime making sure she didn't vomit again. Deciding that it was only proper, Ayren bowed to the Endal and replied, "Pleased to meet you Endal Shayth, and Turiska too."

Oleana took that time to realize why Shayth was so annoyed, and quickly commented that she meant no disrespect. Then she also began to try to help the sick Endal. She suggested that Sayth drink water, and Ayren thought that was probably a good idea. He wasn't a medic, so there was no way to really be sure of what you were supposed to do in such a case, but you could never go wrong with water. The worst that could happen would be that she would no longer be thirsty afterwards.

When Oleana held out her water bottle to Shayth, Ayren took the time to chime in. Maybe if both of them ganged up on her, she would have to drink it, or even go back to the city and hopefully see a doctor. Turning to Shath, Ayren said, "It would probably help to drink that water. You will most likely feel better. Then you need to go back to your aerie. Look, even your Wind Eagle is worried about you," he pointed out, waving a hand in the direction of Turiska, who had stopped preening and was now avidly watching the Endal.

Shayth looked at Olena as she apologised, and with a tilt of her head she smiled at the woman. It had been a while since she'd heard an avora defer to her. Glancing at the water canteen, the tall rider felt her stomach roll. It protested anything.

Ayren spoke up next, and with a wince, the rider nodded. They were wearing her down, and besides...what was the worst that would happen? She would only throw it up again. At the mention of Turiska, Shayth looked at the eagle who watched them very closely.

"I'm fine Turiska, it's just a bug or something. I'll be well enough tomorrow." She said to the bird in their own private world. The eagle ruffled her wings and chirruped.

"You look worse than some of the things I've dragged in. I'm more concerned about my feathers. I don't want that on me." It was said in her same snarky tone, but there was definitely a strong current of concern to the wind eagles thoughts. Shayth smiled at the massive creature, before turning back to the others with a nod.

"Alright, alright. Yes, please. Can I have some water?" Her blue eyes glanced between the two, face still pale and hand lowering shakily. At this rate she was going to have to tie herself into Turiska's saddle. Taking a deep breath, the endal wanted to sit down. She spotted a broken slab of shale, thrown from the heights of the mountain to the field below during the winter and shaded by a sparse birch tree. It wasn't far, but the proud rider knew she wouldn't make it their on her own. Blushing, she looked at Ayren.

"I'd like to sit down, please."

Oleana's eyes trailed Shayth's as she looked at her great Wind Eagle. The massive bird didn't look all that concerned for its rider, but a bit worried that some of Shayth's breakfast might end up on its body.

She knew fer little about Wind Eagles, almost nothing. She started wonder just how smart the creature was. It was large, intimidating, and majestic in looks, and Oleana knew just how smart some animals could be but she wondered if these Eagles were smarter than she assumed.

Oleana's attention was back on the rider when she caved and requested some of the water. Oleana handed the canteen to Shayth and let her drink from it and took it back when she was done. She put the canteen back in her pack and looked to Ayren. Oleana said nothing but gave him a look as if to say "She's a little stubborn, isn't she?".

"I'd like to sit down, please..." The Endal said shakily.

She was looking to Ayren for help it seemed and her flushed red face either meant she found him attractive or she was embarrassed to ask him for help. Oleana couldn't help but crack a lighthearted smile at her request.

Ayren smiled slightly when the Endal asked him for help. Even though he had just met her he could tell that she was proud, and didn't like to have to ask for the assistance. That she did it anyway probably suggested that she felt worse than she wanted to admit. It did make him glad though that she hadn't just tried to walk over there herself, most likely fainting somewhere on the way.

"Of course," Ayren replied walking up to the shaky Endal. He put an arm around her shoulder, to keep her from falling over. Although not before he shot a glance at the looming Wind Eagle to communicate that he was just trying to help. Then slowly, with Shayth using him as a balance, the group managed to get over to shaded rock. Once there, Ayren stepped back but hovered for a moment to make sure that she didn't fall without the support. As he moved away, he took a moment to look her over again. She wasn't quite so pale as before, and the water seemed to have helped her not feel quite so ill. He took that as a good sign.

Then out of the corner of his eye he noted that one of his students was waving over at him. When Ayren turned to see who it was, the student noticed the attention and made a gesture for Ayren to return. He was sure the Yasi had a question, or maybe they had even managed to finish the project. Whatever it was, Ayren knew he had spent enough time away from the class, and it was time to get back to them. He had already noted that the Endal looked better, so he wasn't quite as worried about her as he had been previously. Besides, now Oleana was here, and if Shayth got worse she could take care of it. Oleana seemed capable enough at making sure the Endal was alright.

Ayren looked over at Shayth again, to double check that she was alright, then turned to Oleana and said, "I've got to get back to my class, you can handle this? Make sure she gets back to the city, alright?" Then before Oleana had time to respond, Ayren added in Shayth's direction, "I'll take my leave now. Please go back to the city and see a doctor so that you know what's wrong. I hope that you get better." Ayren nodded in her direction, and then in Turiska's as a sign of respect, then bounded off across the grass towards his class. He knew that Shayth would be okay in Oleana's care, and that there was nothing more he could do.

When he reached his class he looked back one time to make sure Shayth hadn't keeled over or anything. Seeing that they were fine, Ayren seeked out the student who had called him over, and was soon involved in his class. Until the class was over, Ayren forgot all about the sick Endal and her Wind Eagle, but by then they were both gone. He really did hope that she ended up okay.

OOC :
Okay, Ayren is going to leave now. He's been neglecting his class for much too long already. (: It's been nice threading with you, and by all means you may continue the thread without me!

Oleana watched as Ayren walked quickly back to his class on the other side of the grove. She her self had never been in classes such as that, her father had been her only teacher, and so hunting and daydreaming were all she knew how to do proficiently.

She turned back to the pale Endal who was seated on a slab of rock under the shadow of the tree. Oleana was glad she was taking her advice and sitting down. She put her water canteen next to her on the slab of shale and sat down on the grass. A softer seat was more preferred and the grass was perfect.

"So, Shayth was it? Are you feeling any better? I'm glad you're taking it easy, don't push yourself too far. It's okay." Oleana smiled to her.

The last thing she wanted was a sick, and angry, Endal after her right now. Shayth's temper seemed to be a short one, and so talking to her was like walking on glass barefoot. It could only be done slowly and carefully with each step chosen carefully, either way she was going to get glass in her foot. Or more accurately, some sarcastic and sharp words perhaps.

On the other hand, Oleana thought, at least the Wind Eagle wasn't trying to tear her head off... Oleana smiled slightly at her thought but hid it by looking away from them.

Shayth took the aide of the man without looking him in the eye, grateful to be seated again and feeling a little better. It was not right, this sickness. This weakness. She could not be weak, she was an endal.

As the helpful chiet took his leave, the rider nodded, taking note of his name for the future. As he had helped her, one day eventually, she may be required to help him. Pausing for a moment, the redhead almost laughed. Who was this woman in her head? Where was the proud and fiery endal she was. Pathetic, already! It made her angry at herself. All heavens and hells be damned she would not be like this.

Glancing at the huntress beside her, Shayth saw the small smile as she turned away. Curious...it seemed. Were all avora designed with that secretive smirk. Still, one could not fault the young woman's apology before, and now even her obvious sumbission. Kovac could learn a few things from her.

"I'm feel a lot less like I want to decorate the bushes with my lunch, definity." The rider said with a wry smile, before glancing at Turiska again. The bird was getting impatient now, grounded for way to long for her convinience. Raising an eyebrow, the tall woman looked back at Oleana.

"Turiska I think appreicates that the most. She's not to fond of the whole sickness thing, puts a cramp in her wing so to speak. Oleana, I lost my temper before, and I...would like to say sorry. You have aided me, and I was just...short. Although of course, laughing at an endal is pretty much the best way to end up on the wrong end of an eagle." Her tone was playful, even if it carried a serious warning for future referance. Ahh, it was easing. The nausea, the dizziness..she could feel the color returning to her cheeks.

"By the winds, that was petching awful. Remind me never to drink again." Shayth joked, knowing full well she wasn't hung over. Denial was her best friend and would remain so until she could get her head around the situation. It was not what it seemed. It just wouldn't be.

"Do you need a lift anywhere?" She asked suddenly, watching the wind eagles head snap up immediatly to glare at her, feathers ruffling visibly. There were nasty thoughts filling her mind, directed from the indignant bird, to which Shayth ignored. Oleana had assisted her, and come hell or highwater, the eagle could take a second rider. It wasn't as it if was Kovac.

A ride? Oleana thought about the offer. She was supposed to be just out hunting, but it was nearly lunch time so she was getting hungry. Without having anything to bring back, though, her share for lunch would probably be on the small side. Filling, yes, but that doesn't mean it'd be enough to give her the energy she needs.

"There are some falls just south of here, nothing too special but the local fauna use the pool at the bottom as a watering ground. I need to get a kill and if I'm lucky something tasty will be near by." Oleana smiled.

Not only was the pond good for game hunting, but it was very scenic and beautiful. Oleana loved the little wonders in nature. Something as simple as water falling from a ledge into a pool could bring a smile to anyones face, especially hers.

"It's a good spot to relax, too. You might like it... and besides," Oleana picked up her water canteen "I have to fill this up too."

Oleana giggled at her remark and put the canteen away. She didn't actually mind that her water was gone. Anything to help a fellow Inarta in need.

"I can show you the way best I can if you're willing to go on the little adventure with me?" Oleana laughed.

Shayth's stomach fell as the girl mentioned her desired destination. Listening, she swallowed nervously, offering a small smile at the comment about the canteen. Vividly, she could recall the waters depths, blackening as she sank deeper and deeper. It terrified her, and it infuriated her that it did. In the back of her mind, the rider could hear Turiska laughing at her as the eagle read her thoughts.

"Serves you right. Well, if she wants to lead I can certainly follow." Turiska chuckled, shaking out her feathers and stretching her wings. Her golden eyes watched the two inarta with expectation. The endal took a deep breath, and stood.

"Alright, sounds like a plan. I'm sure its...a lovely place. Come on then." Walking over to the eagle, Shayth lept up and settled in the saddle, reaching down to lend Oleana a hand in getting up into the second seat. Once they were both settled in, the endal would whisper to the bird, and with a great sweep of her wings the eagle would lift them into the air.

As they soared higher and higher, Shayth felt her stomach roll a little, but it was nothing compared to before. It was managable. Turning her head slightly, the woman called out to the avora.

"Just point me in the right direction." She said, ignoring the knot in her stomach. It was fine going to the falls, as long as she stayed well away from the water.

Oleana could do nothing more than smile as she was filled with joy and excitement. Riding through the air was amazing on the back of a Wind Eagle. Such majestic creatures, one with the wind. Oleana's mind wandered in her little and short daydream as they soared over the ground below.

When Shayth inquired to the direction she snapped back to reality and took a quick look around to see which direction they needed to go. Oleana spotted the gorge that it was near and pointed Shayth in the right direction.

They banked right and leveled out as they flew to the area Oleana had requested. It truly was a nice and calming place. She would have been lost to her memories of it if she wasn't so entranced with the view.

She could see farther than she had ever before... the horizon line began to call out to her as it always did. Her smile faded and her heart slowed in beat as she stared at the northern horizon line. Her father had left to the north. That was where she wanted to go if she ever left this place. She longed to see the world, and maybe find him, too.

Oleana looked back at where they were over the forest. They were close and the grove was just below them on the left.

"It's just down there, okay?" She pointed to the grove on the small ridge buried under the canopy.
