Ok, I am not a Dr., yet. I might get around to the PHD eventually. You can call me Inaba, and I am currently a undergraduate in biology. It has been forever since I have did literary role-plays. In fact, I kind of need to sweep up that pile of rust accumulating on the floor. After the several years of hiatus I have been on, I have decided to come back and stretch the old creative muscles. I guess it is to be expected that all the old sites and friends are gone now. A quick search for the best roleplaying forums, I found this one on top of the charts. I figured that I might as well get rejected by the best first. (Joke, I hope.)

At this point, I do not consider myself a very strong writer. Looking back at my previous works, I am less than impressed. Arrogance stifles growth. Now that I am mature enough and possibly wise enough to recognize my shorting comings, I might actually get better. A lot of my failings are at the grammatical level and I pray that it will be forgiven. I also understand better what makes a character interesting. I am hoping that I will be able to make a memorable and deep one here.

I am greatly impressed by the extensive lore on this world. The races all seem well done and explained. It makes me exited in joining, but it also makes it a bit unaccessible.

Welcome to Mizahar Edelmira. I'm looking forward to seeing your character sheet and finding out where in the world you are going to start out. You will have no trouble finding people to create stories with.

Hey Inaba! Welcome to Mizahar. My name's Mikael (or Masaiken, or Masai). Even if you're not a strong writer, you can still have fun here and even improve your writing. In fact, I've read that a lot of students were sent here by teachers to improve their writing-- they did. So, I think you'll enjoy your stay here. =)

Well, first thing you should check out is:
--- The Starting Guide
--- Rules (highlights include: 1 character per account, 5 accounts allowed, and your characters cannot interact with each other in any way or form, or benefit from each other.)
--- Terms of Use
--- Creative Manifesto (This is super important! We're all about originality and not doing the same old cliches over and over and over and... well you get the idea.)

Followed by these links:
--- Starting Package (very important, it gives you your initial set of skill points and gear)
--- Races (There are 20 totally original races here, so simply playing to a racial norm means your character will be unique!)
--- Skill List (keep in mind that most of these are not fully developed, and some skills are not listed)
--- Magic List (magic is cool, but it does have its consequences-- don't ignore them)

You should post your character in a thread here. It's okay to post it even if it's a Work-In-Progress (WIP):
--- Character Sheet Forum

Here's some information on where you can start. It's important to research the lores on the cities before starting there, too:
--- Where to Start Out
--- City List (there's a very useful summary at the bottom of the page. Colombina is awesome!)

Lastly, some other important links. Feel free to ask for help if you don't understand, but with practice, you'll pick them up like a second nature.
--- Timestamping (this is a mandatory thing to learn)
--- Calendar
--- Experience Points (you get these after a Storyteller grades your thread. Think of each thread as a mini adventure in your character's life in the world of Mizahar)
