I finally joined up after doing some snooping around
I'm not new to roleplaying and run my own forum, but this isn't the place to talk about that. No, this is about Mizahar.
All corniness aside, a friend was googling about and found this place. He linked it to me on facebook. At first I was like "ehh...none of my characters will fit in." Blah blah blah excuses involving elves and running out of ideas. Who needs elves anyway? Apparently just the norse.
I like to deviate from the norm a bit and unless a DM plans excessively around every plot device they use, I tend to be their bane. Bomb needs defusing? I toss it out of the window that was originally just there for flavor. Problem solved.
I actually decided on my character before joining and my username is my characters full name simply because I'll probably forget it later if I don't. When it comes to names, I have very poor memory.
I'm used to much shorter posts, but I know I'm capable of much much longer ones and I am writing a fantasy novel on a post-apocalyptic world (sort of like this one! Gasp!). So I'm a little excited...that's actually very hard to do. This will be on the test. Any questions? Do not, by any means, hesitate to ask. I'm pretty much an open book since I believe much of myself will end up being revealed anyway. Why wait? Also. Got a problem or suggestion? Be as concise and straight-forward as possible. I react much more favorably and I'm more likely to listen.
What else what else...Yeah just call me Tal or Tali or something. I'm not really picky about nicknames.
Oh right! I'm kind of an otaku (for those that don't know what this means: I'm a fan of japanese anime, manga, and music.) who enjoys learning about other cultures. I have no real goals set for my character other than travel, possibly learning the flux along the way, and discovering who she really is and what she wants to do with her life with some possible romance on the way. Other than that...it's fair game to me. I figure she'll make her own eventually.
My real goal is to have fun and focus on my weak-point as a writer: those pesky details...
Can't think of anything else really...Ciao for now!
