[Levon]

My name is Trevor, although I'd prefer it if you called me by my character's name Levon (pronounced Lee-von as opposed to Leh-von). Both my character and I are (recently) 20, I chose the same birthday and age for him as for me so it's easier to remember. I don't have very much RP experience, but I have dabbled in writing quite a bit so hopefully I'll fit right in. I prefer to do "plot" based threads, where there is some sort of character development or action present (though not necessarily fighting or sex, both of which I feel can be really fun if done right but are almost always done wrong), and I like coming into writing with a general gameplan in mind- though I don't mind if it ends up going in a completely different direction.

My favorite thing about Mizahar so far was quite simply how much lore there was to aid me in getting started- even now, as I find new things to explore I continue changing my character's history and concept. This is in large part why I chose Archaeology as my character's profession; there's so much to learn about Mizahar's past and so much going on in it's present that I'd might as well learn about them through the eyes of my character.

I guess the only thing about Mizahar that has frustrated me thus far is that, while there are placeholders for almost everything, not everything has been completely fleshed out yet- but this is also the one of the things that excites me the most. Once I get a better feel for the site in general I'll probably help out with World Development a bit.

I decided to start posting on Mizahar because I've been interested in resuming writing again for awhile now but have had some struggles in starting because I just end up world building too much. Coming to Mizahar, I not only get fellow minds to bounce ideas around with but I also get the groundwork for an amazingly well developed world already in place so I can jump straight into the writing part. And there's always more to be developed, too, so if the urge hits me I can help out there as well.

Since my character is an Archaeologist, the thing I feel needs the most expanding is the Pre-Valterrain history simply because it's the most relevant to my character- as much information as Mizahar provides, I occasionally find myself getting stuck on simply things like "What kind of agriculture did Alahea have?".

Other than that, Levon will be in Zeltiva exploring and excavating Pre-Valterrain ruins for the foreseeable future if you ever want to thread with me!
