Creating an NPC

I want to make two NPC for my character to have in a flashback. I was wondering how I would go about doing this. I know you have to post on the help desk, but I was wondering what kind of information or layout would be appropriate.

On a related note, if one wanted to learn the use a weapon from an Akalak, would learning Unarmed Combat first be a requirement? If one were to make an NPC Akalak for this task, would points be required in Unarmed for his points?

Unarmed Combat and armed combat are two different things. You don't need to learn how to swing your fist around in order to learn to stab someone.

Unarmed Combat is more Boxing, brawling, wrestling and so on.

However as a Akalak I would think the same race rules would apply so they would get at least 10 points without cutting into the point pool they have when you make them.
