Inarta question

I had an idea for an Inarta PC while browsing through the race list.
Well, I just had to create an Inarta and then I had a big doubt… I want to create an albino Inarta (is that even possible?). This would automatically put Iris in the dek cast, but what if she actually did have a skill? Would she climb the cast ladder or be forever a dek only because of her appearance despite having a skill?

Iris-

Yes it is possible to be an albino of any race. Her skin color wouldn't automatically put her in a dek cast. Her inability to excel in school, learn a trade, attract someone who wants her as an apprentice, etc would instead. If she's stupid, lazy, or flat out an idiot then she gets automatically thrown into Dek status. If shes none of those things, she's probably going to be someone of higher standing.

Thanks, but I was planning for Iris to be a traditional albino, white hair,red eyes and all...Not having red hair is the issue isn’t it?

Uhm.... Albinos have white skin, pink or red eyes, and white hair. When you say Albino, this is what I think of. Just because the Inarta are horribly inbred and almost all have red hair, doesn't mean they grant status based on it. They are just a flock of gingers that value skills way more than looks. In fact, I think of all the races on Miza, the Inarta would be most likely to produce Albinos given their genetically shallow gene pool.

Hey guys, not to burst into anything but I think I found something that might help.

"Those mixblooded individuals that also have 'throwback' traits to purebred Inarta (meaning they lack red hair, abilities with birds, etc) are often automatically thrown into this caste and treated perhaps far worse than other cultures would treat their slaves."

I just figured it may help.
