Hey all!

I am new here, just joined yesterday. Trying to get a few kinks worked out on my character before I dive into the game.

I'm new to this kind of thing, so I hope that you are all willing to give me a little help at first.

I found this site in a late night Google query, and after a little browsing, fell in love with the atmosphere and everything that has been set up here. The lore, the mapping, the in depth wiki and storyline, I was honestly a little scared to get into something that looked as though it had been around for so long. What right did I have to take part in this already immense achievement?

Either way, here I am. A huge commendation to whoever holds the mental facilities that created all of this!

I can't wait to get started and have the chance to interact with all of you!

I just joined a couple days ago myself. My advice is to just jump on in and go for it : D Just flesh out your character and work out his history and what not... and then BE him. I'm sure Goss will be around soon if you have any questions.

Unfortunately, I am waiting on a response on a Gnosis request, so it may be a little while before I can actually start posting. My character is already created, but I may need to make modifications based on what Tarot says about my requested Gnosis.

I would get a character sheet going then. That helps a lot when others need to find out what you're all about, and it helps you collect your thoughts too. You can check out mine and the others in the subforum (Resources-->Character Toolbox-->Character Sheets) for examples and ideas. There isn't an exact 'set in stone' way to do it either, so feel free to mix sections around and make it your own.

Well met and I hope you feel welcome. Every new player adds tons to the game. Believe it or not we just opened in August. And most of the mods took Nov off for NaNo (we are lovers of writing too!)... so bare with us if it seems a bit slow. But give us more time and hopefully we'll go amazing places together... especially storywise.
